"Hello, Min-ah! Are you home already? I talked to Hye-rin and she's on her way now. I'll be home hopefully not beyond midnight. Make sure to go to bed early. And..."

"Behave and listen to Hyerin-ssi and you're going to ask her if I've been good while you're at work. I already know all of that, oppa. You've told me that several times last night and this morning. I can recite that in my sleep already. I'm no longer a child, oppa. Don't you trust me?", Kyung Min interrupted her brother, frustrated.

Namjoon chuckled. "I'm sorry. I know you're a good kid. I'm just concerned and nervous. I'm not used to leaving you at home with someone that is not Auntie Kwang Hee."

Auntie Kwang Hee is their mother's cousin who used to live a couple of blocks away from their home. She used to come over and watch over Kyung Min whenever Namjoon's not around. However, she and her family moved from Ilsan to Seoul a couple of years ago when a better work opportunity for her husband came. Since then, Namjoon tried his best to be at home whenever he can.

Namjoon works as a copywriter for a big company. He makes sure that he finishes his job on time so that he's at home before dinner time. However, there are times that he needs to take his work at home or sometimes he's just drained mentally from all the stress at work that he just wants to sleep once he gets home. That's why even though he's at home most of the time, he's still not able to spend more time with his sister as much as he wants to.

Now with the added responsibility that comes with his promotion, he simply cannot just bring home unfinished work like before. He's now handling more clients and attending more meetings. A lot of the projects he's taken over also need his presence in location shoots. Namjoon's more stressed than ever. But just thinking that having a higher salary will afford him to send his sister to a better university in the future makes him think that all of the difficulties that came with his promotion are worth it. He just hopes that Kyung Min sees it that way too.

"Oppa, I have to go! Hyerin-ssi is already here. Don't tire yourself, okay. Make sure you eat dinner."

"Okay, Min-ah! See you in the morning. Saranghae."

"Saranghaeo, Joonie oppa!"

"Wow! You're a great cook, Hyerin-ssi! That was so delicious!"

The sitter laughed. She's glad that Kyung Min seems to be in a friendlier mood compared to the first time they met.

"Thank you, Min-ah. I'm happy you liked it. Also, you can call me unnie. No need to be so formal."

Kyung Min beamed. "Okay, unnie. Is it okay if I watch tv while I finish my schoolwork?"

Hye-rin hesitated. She didn't want to ruin the mood but she's been informed that the younger is still grounded so tv is not allowed. Maybe she can pretend that she doesn't know and let her be, she muses. But what would Namjoon think of her when he finds out?

"Oppa told you about my punishment, didn't he?" Kyung Min said, interrupting the other's train of thought. She crossed her arms and pouted.

"My brother is so strict. I didn't even do anything that is so bad."

"Well... what did you do that earned punishment?", Hye-rin inquired carefully.

Kyung Min grimaced and answered in a quiet voice, "Uhm, I failed my history class."

"And how did that happen?"
