A/N: Before we start this imagine. Anyone else completely in love with this gif? Like ugh, he is so hot!

But yes, let's start this Noah Hanifin imagine...

When Noah's trade to Calgary first made its way to me, I was so scared and nervous about our future together and the new place we were moving to. We were moving to a whole new country never mind a new city, a country that is always cold but the people are so welcoming. The fears never left me when we packed up our apartment in Raleigh and moved to Calgary in Canada. They even stayed the first few weeks we were here, the nerves and fears became a part of me and I never saw an opening to free myself from those thoughts.

I always kept thinking, 'the fans aren't going to like him', 'don't get too comfortable, he will be traded again', 'how are we going to make this place our home?' But those thoughts all disappeared after three months into living in Calgary. Gosh, the players and fans welcomed us warmly and were so kind. The city, one full of multicultural communities, became the home we so desperately wanted it to when we first arrived. And living here for over a year and a half now, I think it is safe to say that Calgary is our home and we wont be going anywhere any time soon.

But my home has always been Noah and he will always be my home. We have been together for five years, we met back in Raleigh when Noah and I both got into a car accident. It wasn't anything major, I slammed on my breaks when a car swerved into my lane unexpectedly and Noah ended up crashing into the back of my car. I was so apologetic about it all, constantly telling him I was sorry and if there was anything I could do to make up for what I caused. Noah, on the other hand, was so calm about it all and didn't really care about the damage to the front of his car, he just cared if I was alright and wasn't injured. In the end, he asked for my number and to go for dinner to make up for the car accident. And I guess you could say from that moment, a beautiful relationship blossomed between us. I love him so much, there are no words to describe how much he means to me. He is my life, my love, my world, my all.

So when we arrived in Calgary, I went about to make sure our apartment felt like our home and I did just that. Now our apartment feels like us and I love that, even with Noah's smelly clothes lying all around the apartment.

But the one thing I love about living in this city is the many events that take place year round. From the Zoo Lights at Christmas to the fireworks festival in August to the Calgary Stampede, Calgary really has it all and the events are ones that get everyone out of their homes. Thankfully Noah is in the city tonight and with the Glow Winter Festival set up downtown, we have made a night of it to go take part in the festival and enjoy the company of one another.

I hold onto my boyfriends hand securely, his large one covering my small hand completely as we sit on the C-train. I love that he is taller than me, sometimes he can be too tall but I never get annoyed when he jokes about my height or uses me as an arm rest when we are out in public. When he does I always remark back to him, 'if the sky falls first, he goes before me' which always causes him to laugh his beautiful hearty laugh that I enjoy hearing so much. Gosh, being with Noah makes me so happy. I couldn't have wished for a better person to spend my life with, Noah is everything to me and our lives together are only just getting started despite being together for five years.

"Is dinner planned at home or are we eating out?" I ask as we get off the C-train at City Hall. Noah holds onto my hand a little more tightly as the crowds of people surround us while we maneuver ourselves away from the busy platform.

"I was thinking we could eat out, you know, make a night of this because I haven't seen you in so long." Noah tells, his voice close to my ear. I nod my head, leaning into the side of my giant boyfriend. Noah says nothing in protest and places his arm over my shoulder, both of us walking in the direction of Stephen's Avenue to let the night start.
