Humboldt Broncos

I never thought I'd do this, but I am. I don't think I'll ever delete this because those boys deserve to be remembered forever. I'm not asking for votes, you don't have to read this but I'm doing this because I want to.

It hits home hard for me because I traveled on buses like that to play in other cities, not once did it cross my mind that I may never make it home. No one ever thinks that when they get on a bus to travel to play the sport they love that they'll never be making it home. The Humboldt Broncos never had a second thought that that bus ride would be their last, they were more focused on playing hockey and winning their game. But unfortunately some will never play hockey again and some are gone forever.

I don't know the Broncos and I'll never know them, but hockey is a family and when one team hurts we all hurt. My prayers, thoughts, and condolences are for the families and friends. I don't know what it's like to lose a loved one and I hope to never feel the pain that they're feeling right now. I'll admit, I've cried and I still cry from time to time when I see and think of the team and what has happened. The hockey community will be hurting and it will for a while, but we'll continue to love and support the sport that the Humboldt Broncos members went out playing.

Pray for the city Humboldt.

Pray for the families.

Pray for the lost souls.

Pray for the lives that were taken far too early.

Pray for the players that are in hospital and alive recovering from that horrific accident.

Pray for the Humboldt Broncos.
