There was a lady receptionist in the foyer who was relatively young and really nice. She sat us down and told us that he'd had a major panic attack in the middle of the road. "A few young girls were screaming for autographs and things and he broke down onto the road. Luckily, the fans rang 999 and stayed with him. We think he grabbed a beer bottle next to him to smash up and drag across his wrist. You can go in and see him now. If you like."
Jordi nodded and told me to go in if he waited outside. I smiled and walked into the quiet room. He sat me down next to him and said,
"I don't know what came over me. I'm so sorry..I never..." his tears took over him. I grabbed his arm and looked him in the eyes. I told him that there was nothing for him to be sorry about. He held me closely and kissed me goodbye.
