Third person
Daniel stared off into space, struggling to pay attention to the teacher. This is one of his least favourite classes, astronomy, he's only taking it for extra credit so he can graduate high school.
"Ok, now I'm going to put you into pairs," Mrs. Busch explained. Daniel snapped back into reality, not even knowing what the project was. Mrs. Busch looked at the paper in her hands and started calling out the pairs. "Zach and Kay. Jonah and Jack. Christina and Tate. Daniel and Corbyn."
Daniel looked over at Corbyn and blushed, he had liked Corbyn for a while. Corbyn smiled back at the tooth gaped boy before turning his attention back to taking notes in his notebook. "Okay class, this project's due in a week, and I expect a presentation to be prepared," Mrs. Busch explained as the bell rang.
Everybody in the class stood up and grabbed their backpacks, and they headed out the door. Daniel walked over to Corbyn's desk, where the blonde boy was still packing his things.
"Hey Corbyn," Daniel said quietly. Corbyn looked up at Daniel with a welcoming smile.
"Hi Daniel," Corbyn replied.
"So uh, would you like to walk home with me tonight so we could work on the project? You can stay for dinner as well," Daniel offered.
"I would love to Daniel," Corbyn agreed with a smile.
"Ok, see you at the front door after school," Daniel said then left the room. Corbyn smiled to himself before grabbing his bag and leaving as well.
*after school*
Corbyn walked out of the front doors to see Daniel leaning against the building, waiting for him. Daniel smiled at Corbyn and walked over to him.
"You ready?" Daniel asked. Corbyn nodded. The two started walking, breathing in the cold air with the subtle scent of evergreen trees. Daniel started rubbing his hands together, trying to keep the cold winter air away. Corbyn noticed and grabbed Daniel's hand, quickly interlocking them.
The younger boy blushed and looked at the ground. Corbyn squeezed his hand gently and continued walking.

When the pair arrived at Daniel's house they released their hands.
"Mom! I'm home!" Daniel shouted when they walked in. Keri came to the front entrance and smiled at Daniel.
"Hi sweetie, who's this?" Keri asked, gesturing to Corbyn.
"This is my friend, Corbyn," Daniel explained, "we got paired up for an astronomy project."
"Ok awesome! Would you like to stay for dinner Corbyn?"
"If you don't mind," Corbyn said shyly.
"Of course not, it won't be a problem," Keri said happily, "well, you boys do whatever you need to do for your project."
"Thanks mom," Daniel said before leading Corbyn upstairs.
They went into Daniel's room and sat down next to each other on the bed. "What is this project about anyway?" Daniel asked.
"Mrs. Busch explained it all today," Corbyn said with a giggle. Daniel could've sworn his heart melted.
"I uh, I wasn't paying attention," he shyly admitted. Corbyn laughed and shook his head.
"Of course you weren't Dani."
"Hey, you cant blame me, astronomy is so boring," Daniel whined. Corbyn's jaw dropped.
"Astronomy is my favourite class ever! You get to talk about planets and stars, it's magical. You can also talk about...."
Daniel zoned off while staring at Corbyn. In his mind, Corbyn was the most perfect person ever. He had the most beautiful blue/green eyes, they sparkled when Corbyn laughs. Corbyn's hair was so beautiful and fluffy, Daniel just wanted to run his hands through it. And Corbyn's soft, plump lips were to die for, Daniel wanted to kiss him so badly.
Do you want to kiss me as bad as I do right now? Daniel thought.
Corbyn stopped talking and stared at Daniel, a dark blush rising onto his cheeks.
"I would love to Dani," he said shyly. Daniel snapped out of his trance and blushed.
"I said that out loud?" He asked, mentally face palming himself.
"Uh yeah, you did."
Corbyn and Daniel smiled at each other for a few seconds before attaching their lips. Corbyn pulled Daniel's waist closer, which caused the small boy to smile. Daniel also wrapped his arms around Corbyn's neck.
The pair slowly pulled away and smiled at each other, they were both slightly panting.
"Wow," Daniel whispered. Corbyn giggled and pecked Daniel's lips again.
"Will you be my boyfriend?" Corbyn asked gently. Daniel nodded with a smile.
"Of course."
Both boys smiled widely before bringing their new lover into another passionate kiss.
