You liked weddings. You liked the concept of them, with their romantic aesthetic and the bride in the beautiful dress and the groom smiling as she's walking up to the altar.

Though you didn't like the idea of being married yourself, the 'forever, in good and in bad times' part sounding a bit obscure to you.

Whatsoever, what you without a question liked was the idea of Jungkook not only paying for your dress for the wedding but also going to buy it with you.

"Jungkook will pick you up after school, you'll go buy a dress." Had been your mother's unspectacular message, that ended up having you in the car besides Jungkook, who was looking at you through the rear mirror.

"What?" You asked irritated.

"So... a dress. For you." The older stated.

"Yes. A dress." You retorted, feeling his weird tone slightly irking you, "So what?"

"Nothing." He was quickly to respond, "It's just that... uhm-"

It was clear that he was uncomfortable with saying his thoughts out loud, as if ashamed of how the words might sound.

"It's just that you don't look like the 'dress' kind of girl to me." He said quickly.

You frowned and probably would've crossed your arms if you had have the space for it, but didn't said any more words. You felt hurt. The boy you obviously were crushing on just practically told you that he doesn't think 'female' clothes would fit you.

"Listen." Jungkook said in a voice that clearly tried to make you feel less upset, a soft smile on his lips, "I just meant that you don't seem like the type that wants to dress to impress, you know?"

Didn't make things better, really. You snickered and put on a smile, "No need to explain yourself, I don't care what you think."

So, apparently you were a good actor, because Jungkook hummed satisfied and averted his attention back to the street.

___

Seriously, shopping with Jungkook was even worse than shopping with your mom, his judgmental side-glances whenever you picked a dress were slowly breaking down your self-esteem.

You sighed, "We're never going to buy a dress at this rate."

The twenty years old lifted his arms defensively, "I didn't say anything!"

"But you're looking." You said, realizing only then how childish it came over.

Jungkook stared at you for a really long time, until he huffed out an exhausted sigh and turned around, "Better?"

You scowled at him, cursing your brain for thinking about how even his backside was handsome in this unfortunate moment.

You kept walking through the aisles of clothes, taking your time to realize how Jungkook was not behind you anymore. But as soon as you realized it you stopped abruptly, getting on your tip-toes to search him, "Jungkook? ...Jungkook, this is not funny."

All alone you felt lost and vulnerable all of a sudden, considering that you'd never been here before.

You stumbled out of the shop after you couldn't find him there, eyes searching for a particularly handsome guy in the crowd.

"Y/N!"

A rush of relief overcame you when you heard his voice and ran in Jungkook's direction, the same moment when you spotted a brunette further behind him.

"You weren't behind me all of a sudden." Jungkook exclaimed, sounding sorry, but you didn't listen, just looked at Jimin who was staring back at you.

Now Jungkook noticed too, "Oh." He said and Jimin turned around to run away from both of you.

"Y/N, maybe you shouldn't-" Too late, you were already running after him, almost bumping into multiple people as you tried your best to keep up with the boy.

"W-Wait! Jimin!" You shouted after him and - to your surprise - he slowed down.

"Jimin." You repeated, sounding softer, panting after the sprint you just pulled.

"No, stop." He mumbled and you tried to smile at him, who was looking away stubbornly.

"Come on. Let's talk."

"Stop."

"I'm not mad at you if that's what you think-"

"I said stop." Jimin said a bit louder, "Stop being so nice to me."

You closed your mouth and took your time to look him up and down.

He'd become even leaner, seemingly smaller, skin pale and looking unhealthy, eyes looking dull and tired. You could tell he really was beating himself up over all of this.

You sighed and were about to say something when a voice called your name behind you: "Y/N! Stop running away from me like this or you'll get lost again."

You threw Jungkook a glare which you hoped would emotionally stab him, but he obviously didn't get the message as he was now dumbly waving at Jimin, as if nothing had happened between them, "Hey."

Jimin snorted and turned around aggressively, leaving the two of you alone.

You bit the inside of your cheek before looking at Jungkook, "Wow you are really just so incredibly insensitive."

It looked as if he needed a moment to get wha you meant, but as he realized his face softened, "I'm sorry, but Jimin needs to forget about what happened. At least if he wants to be your friend again."

You were about to do the same as Jimin and just leave (you would've done so if only you would know Seoul a tad better). How could Jungkook just forget about this and act as if nothing had happened? He slept with a minor. But... maybe to Jungkook, it really was as if nothing happened, maybe it just wasn't a deal to him.

Mentioned boy seemingly noticed your inner fight, though interpreted it a bit different. He cocked his head to the side and looked at you with this boring glance, "It don't get you. Seriously. He used you. So, why are you still willing to go back to being friends with him?"

You didn't even think of explaining it to him and just shrugged sighing, "Not important. Let's just get this over with and buy a dress."
