September 12th

Jackie rolled over and kissed her husband. He was already awake and was waiting for her. "Good morning bunny" Jackie smiled, embracing her husband. "Why good morning. Mrs Kennedy" Jack grinned. Jackie's smile grew. Jack leaned over to the bedside table and handed Jackie a black box.

Upon opening it, she gazed at the new bracelet Jack had presented her with. It was a gold band that sparkled, studded with diamonds and rubies. Jackie was stunned. "Wow!" She gasped. "I don't know what to say" Jackie stammered, completely overwhelmed. Jack giggled. She kissed him. "Thank you" Jackie grinned.

After crossing her legs, Jackie sat her bracelet on the bed before reaching over to get her gift to Jack.

Jack opened the black, velvet box. Inside sat a golden plate. On it were the words: Mon amour, le président . Underneath were two dates. First one was September 12th 1953 and the second was November 9th 1960.

Jack sat amazed, by this wonderful gift. He leaned forward and kissed Jackie.

7pm

Everyone gathered at the table. Everyone except Janet and Hughdie. It was to remain secret. The First Couple sat seated next to each other, their hands held firmly together.

Jack then clinked his glass which silenced all of the quiet chatter at the table. He stood up perfectly; much to Jackie's surprise. He began to speak. "Ladies and gentlemen. This won't be like any of my political speeches but -" Jack was interrupted with laughter, including that of his own. "But, I still wish to continue" Jack cleared his throat.

He began to speak. "It was eleven years ago, that Jackie and I were married. I know over the course of our marriage, she's probably been a bigger star than I have, especially during these special White House years" Jack turned and looked at his beaming wife. Everyone laughed at Jack's remarks.

"In our eleven years, we've became proud parents to four beautiful children. Arabella, Caroline, John and Patrick" Jack's smile began to fade. Jackie didn't appear happy but deep down she was. She hated it when people left her two deceased children. "I know, we've experience happy and sad over the years, but we've pulled through it" Jack managed to get a smirk on his face.

"I've heard many people say that since we went to the White House we've fallen in love all over again. I can confirm, that is true. Yes we loved one another before, but since we arrived in; as my wife puts it, The House with the Columns ". Once again everyone laughed.

"But since we moved in, we've grown closer. When there has been many times, where we have feared for one another's lives; Jackie refused to leave my side, I refused to leave hers". Jack began to get choked up. He looked down at Jackie. "And I couldn't be happier" Jack looked at her face. The expression she showed, was a mixture of emotion and strong happiness.

"I just want to say, one thank you to Jackie. You've made me laugh, smile, cry, and most of all, you've always been there for me. And I couldn't love you more" Jack this time, let one small tear escape. Everyone applauded the nearly sobbing President before he took his seat.

"Oh Jack" Jackie embraced her husband. Together they embraced before Jack whispered: "I love you". Jackie's heart raced. "I love you too". They passionately kissed. Everyone stared but the First Couple didn't care. As long as, everyone could see their love.
