"hmm what shall we watch.." I say flipping through our options of movies on the TV. "Ooh!" Jack exclaims snatching the remote from my hands scaring me in the process.
"Let's watch insidious!" He says with a big smile on his face clicking play.
I give him a worried look. He knows I hate scary movies. He gives me a reassuring look before setting the remote down.
"don't worry. I know you don't like scary movies. I'll protect you" He smiles wrapping his arm around me pulling me into him. The lights were off and we had blankets scattered around us. Having it pitch black in the living room with no light besides the one from the TV and the moon, Doesn't make watching a scary movie very much better.
A jump scare came up and the scary music blared through the speakers causing me to jump and hide my face in jacks chest. He wrapped his arm around me tighter and rubbed my back soothingly. "you're alright" He said quietly.
The movie went on for a while and I kept getting very scared hiding myself in jacks chest. I was almost on his lap.
"jack" I whimpered quietly. He looked down and saw my expression as my eyes start to water. He paused the movie and turned around so he was facing me.
he grabbed my legs and swung em over so they were on his lap and he pulled me as close as he could. I laid my head on his chest and he pet my head brushing down my hair and to my back slowly. I was shaking.
"relax relax you're alright I'm here. It's just a movie" He whispers kissing my head a few times.
"I-its just the movie was so scary. I-I can't-" I choked out but he cut me off.
"I know babygirl I'm sorry. I probably shouldn't have put that on" He says rubbing my arms up and down.
I stiffled. It was quiet for a second before I started giggling.
he looked at me weird. "what?" He chuckled. "I get scared easily. it's kinda funny" I say.
he let's out a little laugh. "you're a dork"
"I know, but you love me" I smile.
"that I do"
