The next day I had insisted that we go out that today I would choose what we did. Grayson had given in after hours of me insisting that he let me do this for him but he was still hesitant to go out because of how sick I've been over the last week but I had promised that I was better.
When I walked into the living room he was curled up on the couch napping I smile at him and pull a blanket over him before kissing his head. As I walk away he calls for me "what's up Gray?" I ask walking back over to him he smiles "thanks" he says I laugh "I just covered you with a blanket" I say he nods
"right but also for planning our date tonight" he says smiling sleepily I kiss his head again "get some rest gray I'll wake you up before we leave" I say he nods and falls back asleep almost at once.
I smile down at him before calling for a car to pick us up at five. I had picked out the movie that we were going to watch and found the times it was playing at our local theatre. To Grayson's luck, he had three more hours to sleep leaving me with a bit of time before we would have to leave.
I walk into the kitchen and eat a banana before going into the bathroom. I stop in front of the mirror when I see my bloated stomach I frown "guess I need to lay off the snacks" I shrug before reliving myself as I'm washing my hands I hear a car honk. I dry my hands before going into the living room to wake Grayson. I gently push his shoulder
"Grayson" I whisper "five more minutes Hol" he whispers back "it's been three hours" I laugh instantly he sits up "did we miss it?" he asks I shake my head "our car is here" I tell him he nods getting up "thanks for waking me" he says getting into the car I nod smiling "of course I know how much you were looking forward to this date" I say smiling as I take his hand
We get out of the car and Grayson smiles when he sees the movie theatre "what movie are we seeing?" he asks I shrugging taking his hand as I walk towards the front doors. He holds the doors up for me as we walk into the building "could you get us a medium popcorn to share and get me some mars bars and a soda?" I ask him giving him some money he laughs
"and where will you be?" he asks "getting the tickets" I say walking away. After waiting in line I was ordering our tickets "two for toy story 4 please" I say to the lady she smiles handing me the tickets after I had paid. I skip over to Grayson happily and take some of the food from him "what are we seeing?" he asks I roll my eyes "can't you wait a little longer?" I snap at him
"okay sorry" he says sadly I shake my head "come on" I say turning around "what's wrong? Why are you so crabby?" he asks I gasp "I'm fine," I say handing my ticket to the consultant "you'll be in number two," he says I nod curtly walking towards the second theatre. Grayson smiles "toy story 4 cool," he says happily "is it cool?" I snap walking past him.
