As I get ready for school I'm painfully reminded of my date with Grayson last night and wonder where I went wrong. What did I do to deserve this? Did I do something wrong? If I did can I fix it? I wanted to talk to Grayson about my worries and ask him my questions but he never seemed to pay attention to me.
Maybe that was my problem that I'm not interesting or I need to do more in the relationship and plan our dates maybe then he'll pay more attention to me. My alarm goes off so quickly I grab a pair of white ankle socks and put on my high white running shoes. "Amber! Scott!" I yell my older twin siblings walk out from the living room both smiling at me sympathetically
"oh come on it wasn't that bad" I say crossing my arms they exchange looks. Scott grabs the car keys and walks out the door Amber puts her hand on my shoulder and sighs but doesn't say anything. I follow her out the door and climb into the front seat next to Scott "wow you two must feel really bad for me" I joke Scott doesn't say anything as he pulls out of the driveway. I turn to my sister in the back seat
"Amber come on say something" I beg she turns to look out the window and blushes "we've been talking" she says looking at Scott I turn to him he rolls his eyes and looks at Amber in the mirror "I'm going to tell her if you won't" he tells her she sighs and turns away from my gaze.
Scott pulls into the school parking lot and parks the car before turning to me. "Holly you know we love you so I'm going to give it to you straight. We're both sick of Grayson he hasn't met mom, we barely know him, and he doesn't treat you how you deserve to be treated" he tells me then sighs and takes my hand
"I don't want you to get hurt" he says sadly I roll my eyes and laugh looking at him before turning to Amber "is that what this is about?" I ask looking at them both again before laughing "sorry but Grayson and I are fine we're just going through a rough patch" I tell them Scott looks at me before taking his hand from mine and then he gets out of the car.
Amber sighs and I turn to face her "Holly we know you love him but we love you more. He doesn't love you! If he did he would treat you way better! He'd take you to new better places on dates, text you more, compliment you more, and care about you more! He doesn't even know you like he should" she says I roll my eyes "honestly Amber you're making a big deal out of nothing" I tell her before walking out of the car.
As I make my way to my locker I notice that Grayson isn't waiting for me. I sigh as I put my books into my locker and grab the books I need for my first two classes before lunch when I close my locker I jump shocked to see my best friend Nova standing behind my locker. I gasp "you almost gave me a heart attack," I say grabbing my chest she laughs "sorry I was worried you wouldn't show or were skipping," she says raising her eyebrows I laugh and push her playfully
"ew no it's not like that!" I tell her still laughing she raises one eyebrow and I elbow her "what?" I ask she looks around and leans in to whisper into my ear "I thought you and Grayson would run away on a romantic road trip" she whispers dreamily I shake my head frowning "I'll tell you about it later" I say walking away she runs to walk with me
"what did he do now?" she asks I sigh as we turn into our classroom "you should drop him" she tells me I turn to her and shot her an angry glare she shrugs "just keeping it real" she tells me I roll my eyes and huff as I sit down. She turns to me "Holly ask him where he was" she orders me I roll my eyes but pull out my phone and text Grayson 'where are you?????'

After two very long classes, I rush to my locker and put my books away before going to the cafe. I sit down at a table with my three best friends Nova, Willow, and Peyton they all look around the room then turn to me a question clear in their eyes. I sigh and take a bite from my apple "We went to the diner again" they all roll their eyes
"we didn't talk much I tried to hold his hand a couple of times but he kept pulling away when someone could have seen. Then he checked out the waitress" after telling them this the girls turn on me "I told you to drop him!" Nova says angrily "you definitely don't need him if he's going to treat you like that!" Peyton adds
"maybe somethings wrong with him at least give him a chance to explain" Willow says looking at me seriously Peyton and Nova turn to her angrily "Willow he's been like this the whole time they've dated" Peyton says Nova nods "Peyton has a point" Nova says turning to me "we know you love him but it's obvious he doesn't love you" Nova tells me I let a tear roll from my eye "I know I just wish I could have done something so that we could have worked"
