Quickly I pull on my slip-on flats and rush out the door without saying goodbye to Amber and Scott cause I was late as it was. Grayson was waiting for me in the driveway already so I smile to him as I jog then get into his car "sorry I'm late" I apologize he smiles "I'd wait forever for you" he says I smile at him as he pulls out of the driveway "where are we going?" I ask him he smirks at me
"can't say" he says I huff and cross my arms over my chest and Grayson sighs "oh Holly whatever am I going to do with you" he teases I sigh "you could tell me where we're going and why I had to get dressed up" I ask hopefully he laughs "sorry Holly" he says I roll my eyes "your no fun" I tease he laughs "you're not even playing along" he tells me I nod "because I've played this game before" I remind him he nods
"yeah I've surprised you before and I'll do it again" he tells me I sigh "fine but only this once" I warn he shakes his head "no I'll just keep surprising you" he tells me I sigh "if you have to" I joke he laughs "I think it's my job" he says pulling into the driveway to a fancy restaurant and I gasp.
Grayson looks shocked "what?" he asks I shake my head "Ethan took me here" I tell him he smiles "I know" he says shocking me "I don't understand" I tell him he gets out of the car and opens the car door for me and helps me out of the car and leads me into the restaurant with his hand in mine
"do you have reservations?" the man asks behind a podium Grayson nods "for Dolan" he says the man looks over his list and leads us to the very back in a private dark corner of the restaurant. I smile at him "this is nice" I tell him he nods "my mother works here so we get discounts" he explains I nod and smile "so that's why you both took me here" I joke he puts his hands out on the table and I take then
"that's not why I brought you here" he says seriously I smile "then why?" I ask he smiles as our waiter comes over to the table "what can I get you two?" he asks cheerfully "sparkling water please" Grayson says I nod "I'll have a sparkling water two" I say the waiter nods and walks away.
I turn back to Grayson "then why did you bring me here?" I ask him he smiles at me "remember in the car when I told you I wanted to surprise you again?" he asks smiling I sigh and roll my eyes happily "I see" I say crossing my arms the waiter comes back with our drinks "what can I get you tonight?" he asks I look at Grayson
"I'll try the Risotto please" he says the waiter nods "excellent choice and you?" he ask turning to me "sure I'll try the Risotto as well" I tell him he nods and walks away Grayson smiles "what if it's terrible?" he asks I laugh "you go it" I remind him he nods "right but what if I got it cause I knew you'd get it" he says I shrug "well then we're both stuck with bad meals" I tell him he nods "it's good" he tells me I laugh "I guessed" I tell him he smiles
The waiter brings us our meal. Grayson was right it was good and we both finish it quickly he then pays and we leave the restaurant. Instead of driving me home he takes me to deer park and walks me to the meadow where he told me he loved me for the first time.
I smile at him "Holly I just wanted to tell you how much I love you. I don't only want to tell you but I want to show you not only today or tomorrow but forever. I want to cherish you and treat you right like I should have always done. I also want to thank you for giving me a second chance." he says I smiles tearing up "oh Grayson i love you so much" I tell him he smiles nervously
"I've been thinking a lot lately and I was thinking since we're going to be graduating high school soon that we should make this more permanent" he says getting down on one knee I gasp "Grayson" I say "Holly I love you today, tomorrow, and every day after that will you marry me?" he asks smiling up at me I laugh as tears stream down from my eyes "of course Grayson I will marry you" I say excitedly he slips the ring on my finger and kisses me.
It was then that I knew I loved him and anything I ever felt for Ethan was gone and I knew that Grayson Dolan love me
