Ethan hadn't told me much about what he wanted to do today but he did tell me to not be afraid and that he promised nothing would happen. Of course with that drift description I was terrified and anxious as I got ready but I trusted Ethan he was a great friend and he made me feel happy.
Being away from him was like being ripped away from your family which I knew all too well but it was different with me unlike being with Grayson Ethan made me feel safe like I was the only girl in the world. Ethan actually cared for me and wanted me to be happy and the best part is that he didn't push me to do things I don't want to do.
As I happily get ready my phone vibrates and I know that Ethan is in my driveway quickly I run downstairs and put on my shoes "goodbye!" I yell before turning to the door "Mom's going to be home when you get back!" Scott yells after me suddenly my faces falls and my good mood disappears into thin air. I open the door and stumble over to Ethan's car he smiles when I get into the car but his face falls when he sees me.
Ethan turns off his car and takes my hands in his "what's wrong?" he asks seriously I look up at him sadly then burst into tears and fall into his arms. He wraps his arms around me protectively and rubs circles on my back as I cry into his chest "whatever it is it'll be all right" he whispers I pull away from his to look up at his face and shake my head
"no it won't be! She's going to do it again!" I sob curling back into his chest "what's going to happen again?" he asks obviously confused "my mom, she's coming home tonight but I know she's going to leave she always does" I sob into his chest he kisses the top of my head "well you can stay at my place tonight. My sister's gone to college so we have an extra room" he tells me I shake my head
"no that's okay she'll be upset if I don't come home" I tell him sadly he nods as I let go of him. He starts up his and drives out of the driveway as he drives I take his hand in mine and held it tight as I feel more tears build up in my eyes.
He pulls into a driveway then walks over to my side and helps me out of the car. I frown as I realize he had taken me to his house he takes my hand in his and squeezes it reassuringly "he's not home" Ethan tells me I nod as he leads me into his house.
He opens the door and takes me up into his room. I smile at the medium size room. He had cleaned before I came and had set up a picnic blanket on the floor with a pizza waiting for us "I hope you like pizza" he says leading me over to the blanket I smile and nod "I do" I tell him.
As we eat the pizza we talk and laugh together enjoying our selves than when we were done Ethan gets up and turns on the tv then we get onto his bed and watch the greatest showman one of my favorite movies.
As the movie is ending I cuddle into Ethan and smile to myself I sing the last song since I knew that Ethan liked my singing voice. When the movie was over Ethan turns off the tv "Holly, we've been hanging out a lot and I really like you" Ethan confesses I nod as he continues "and well I think you like me too so I was wondering if you'd be my girlfriend" he says confidently I sigh and think
"I like you too Ethan. I think I have since we first started going out but I just wasn't ready but now I am" I say smiling at him he smiles back and we both lean into each other. When our lips collide I feel my whole body tingle I put my hands around his neck as he wraps his around my waist.
Suddenly Ethan's bedroom door opens "yo E up for a movie?" Grayson gasps when he sees us Ethan and I break apart but his arms stay around my waist. I move closer to Ethan as Grayson walks over to us
"what the hell!" Grayson yells at us "what is this!" he yells pointing at us "a couple making out" Ethan says bluntly I blush as Grayson gasps and stares at me "I thought you loved me" Grayson whispers I get out of Ethan's hold and walk over to Grayson.
I glare at him "I did love you Grayson or at least I thought I did but you treated me horribly and when I was broken and hurt over you Ethan was the one who came to my rescue. Ethan was the one who made me happy. He treats me right and I'm happy to be with him" I tell Grayson angrily he looks away and frowns
"you're right I don't deserve you" he says turning around he then walks out the door. My heart drops and I feel it shatter all over again like it did when I broke up with him but this time was different. Ethan walks up behind me and wraps his arms around my waist "I'll drive you home" he tells me
