After Amber left I realized that I should tell Grayson again about my feelings and prepare me in case. That wouldn't happen I could work things out with Grayson without breaking up with him my feelings for Ethan were really just from thinking he was Grayson so why did I still feel something for him?
Right now I just needed to tell Grayson my truth and figure things out with us before getting into the complicated relationship Ethan and I had right now. At least I still had Grayson to comfort me now. "Amber!" I yell she comes running "yeah?" she asks "is mom going to be home today?" I ask her she shakes her head "no why?" she asks
"I want Grayson to come over" I tell her she looks at me concerned "what?" I ask she sits down "well it's just you need to handle this with care tread lightly" she nods before leaving I sigh then roll my eyes. I quickly text Grayson asking him to come over and he tells me he'll be over soon. When I hear a knock at the door I text him to just open the door and come to my room.
Seconds later the door opens and I hear footsteps coming up the stairs. Grayson walks into my room and sits down on my bed next to me. I push him gently onto his back and then cuddle up to him using his chest as a pillow he puts his arm around my waist and his other arm rubs my back.
He leans his head down so that he can whisper in my ear "I brought you some of my sweaters" he whispers I smile into his chest "thanks Grayson but you didn't have to" I tell him he laughs "no I didn't but I wanted to" he says before he kisses me on top of my head "you're not making this easy" I tell him "making what easy?" he asks me obviously concerned I sigh "I'm just confused since I still feel something for Ethan" I confess he laughs again
"that's why you asked me to come over?" he asks I nod "she just told you she has feelings for your brother and you're okay with that?" Scott asks standing in my doorway. Grayson and I sit up and he puts his arm around my shoulder "she's told me before" he confirms Scott nods "but she's still confused" Scott reminds him Grayson nods "well her feelings will go away in time but she chose me" Grayson tells him Scott nods "right but she has conflicting emotions with your brother" he says
Grayson sighs then rolls his eyes "come on Scott just stay out of this" Grayson says Scott laughs angrily "not likely" he says walking into my room "that's my little sister and if she's confused about her feelings for guys I'm going to help her figure out what she wants then help her get it" he tells Grayson he nods
"okay and right now she wants to be with me" Grayson reminds him Scott nods "right but for how long? Her feelings for Ethan still linger inside of her how long until she can't keep them in anymore and turns on you?" Scott asks Grayson laughs dryly "she doesn't actually like Ethan she just thinks she does," Grayson says lightly Scott rolls his eyes
"Okay Grayson don't say I didn't warn you," Scott says turning to leave "Scott wait!" I call after him he stops in my doorway "Holly, I'm your brother it's my job to protect you" he says I nod "I know but this is to much" I tell him he shakes his head "no it's not enough Holly I just wish-" he breaks off sadly and I drop my gaze "I know Scott it's not fair to you" I tell him he sighs
"there's nothing we can do" he says walking away I sigh and lean into Grayson feeling his arm hold me tighter "listen Grayson I get it if you want to end things with me" I tell him he kisses the top of my head "no Holly I'll stay with you until you tell me to leave" he says I sigh "I don't think you get it" I tell him
"I like Ethan and I'm confused about how I feel for him" I say he nods "right but you love me not him" he reminds me I sigh "Grayson..." I trail off "honestly Holly I know you love me so nothing else matters when you feel more strongly for Ethan then me we can talk about this more" he tells me I shake my head sadly "no Grayson I wanted to fix this now so I wouldn't have to hurt anyone again" I tell him sadly
