A/N Short but Sweet?

Stiles has been pacing around his house for the last half an hour, Scott watching him with a smirk "just go and tell him Stiles"

Stiles shook his head "he hates me, what if he actually does rip my throat out this time, like he's scary, like really scary"

"but you love him" Scott countered "how can you love him if you're scared of him"

"how can you love someone whos father tries killing you at every turn" Stiles shot back

"because Allison is amazing and  her dad doesn't scare me" Scott folded his arms

"what's going on" Noah asks as he walks in watching his son pace around "you're going to make a hole in the floor"

"dad, I have somethig to tell you" Stiles said placing his hands on his dads shoulders

"if this is about you and your feelings for Derek and wanting to find a way out forget it"

Stiles jaw dropped open as he gaped at his father, Scott sat there with a smug grin on his face "h...how?"

"Stiles your my son, I'm a detective it's pretty obvious when you tell me you're going to Scott's and drive in the opposite direction"

"Stiles wants to tell him" Scott pipes up again and Stiles groans

"then Stiles be a Stilinski and be brave, goodnight" he patted Stiles shoulder and headed up the stairs

Stiles continued to pace for another half hour "Ok I'm going" he walks out the house then back in grabbing his keys for his jeep then drives to Dereks house, his heart is racing on the drive there and hes sure by the time Dereks house comes into view his heart is practically jumping out of his throat "oh god what am I doing"

the Hale house had been rebuilt and it looked amazing, Stiles took a sudden intrest in the architecture of the house as he tried to calm his racing heart sitting in his jeep, he took in every bend, decor, crack anything he could on the house before sliding out of the jeep, biting his lip as he walked up to the house opening the door, Yeah Derek leaves the door unlocked he said it's easier then having to fix the lock everytime someone finds the need to barge through the door on their so called emergencies, Stiles didn't need to call him because he came out of the living room once Stiles had entered the house

Stiles took in a deep breath and Jumped the man making him stumble back slightly, wrapping his arms around the back of his neck and legs around his waist, Derek scowled at Stiles "Stiles what are you doing"

"being brave" Stiles said back before pressing his lips to Dereks, Derek froze his eyes widened as Stiles lips hit his, just as Stiles went to pull away Derek kissed him back wrapping his arms around Stiles

they kissed for a while before they had to break for air Derek leaning his forhead against Stiles "why did you do that?"

Stiles pressed another kiss to Derek "because I like you Derek like a lot for the past two hours I been so nervous about coming to tell you and so afraid that you would" Derek shut him up with another kiss "wow" Stiles breathed out

"you talk way to much" Derek let Stiles go so he stood up then he walked away from Stiles, Stiles jaw dropped open as he followed Derek to the kitchen, Derek was making coffee when Stiles walked in "want some coffee?"

"no I want to know about"

Derek turned to Stiles shutting him up "Us?" he questioned taking the few steps to Stiles and pressed his lips to his "Stiles I've always liked you, just sometimes you talk to much, now do you want coffee"

he nods staring up at Derek "yeah I'll have coffee"

Derek turned back and went back to making coffee and Stiles Pursed his lips watching Derek "you like me?"

Derek placed a cup infront of Stiles and raised an eyebrow "that's what I said"

"Since?"

Derek smirked "wouldn't you like to know"

Stiles groaned "Derek!"

"since the day at the pool when the Kanima attacked us, you could have saved yourself but you stayed and helpped me even though it could have killed you, I trusted you since then and started falling in love with you, happy?"

Stiles grinned and nodded he grabbed Dereks hand and linked their fingers together "so you will be my boyfriend"

"no"

Stiles jaw dropped "why not"

Derek pulled Stiles off the stool and closer to him "because Stiles you're more then just a boyfriend you're my mate" Stiles opened his mouth to speak but Derek interrupted with a kiss
