the rumours

In high-school freshman year, Jackson started to spread a rumour, he started telling everyone in School Stiles was a fuck boy.

Stiles obviously wasn't, the truth was Stiles was a one person kinda man and had been in his book dating the same guy since he was in junior school

He just wasn't sure or had the guts to ask his boyfriend if that was still the case when he had moved up to high-school after seeing said boyfriend surrounded by girls, though Derek had never ignored him.

When Stiles first caught heat of the rumour he found Derek in the gym shooting hoops, he walked up to Derek tearful eyes and Derek instantly stopped playing and rushed over to him "hey, whats wrong"

Stiles wiped at his eyes with a sniffle "Jackson's spreading lies, and I don't want you to think it's true, he said I slept with him and I I did things when I never"

The truth was Jackson tried to flirt with Stiles and got super pissed when Stiles turned away from him without a care in the world, "I'm everyones typed he somewhat screamed when Stiles said he wasn't his.

Derek gave Stiles a soft smile and  rested his hand on Stiles buzzed cut head "I know Mischeif, Jackson is a jerk and needs to get over himself  why don't you watch me practice, everyone else will be here soon" Stiles only nodded and sat down watching Derek.

Derek was however two years older then Stiles, and even though Stiles shared some classes with Derek he never sat with him, Derek had his friends and it made him smile.

Whenever Stiles came up to Derek Derek would stop conversation and concentrate on Stiles patting his head as they held small conversation before Stiles would wonder off to his best friend Scott.

The girls would gush at how cute Stiles was and ask who he was and Derek would smile and say my boyfriend but Stiles was to far away to ever hear it.

Erica, Lydia and Paige was Derek's best friends, and slowly Isaac and Boyd was becoming part of their little group, they'd sit down together at lunch, watch Derek search for a buzzed cut cutie before watching a smile streatch on his face before he turns back to his food.

Isaac and Boyd didn't know about Dereks little boyfriend but they always found it amusing to watch him, even his disregard for certain females who thought it was okai to try and weasel their way into his life

Derek continued to ignore Kate argent as she tried to talk to him, rolling his eyes at her blatant show off with cleavage "why do you always get the attention" Isaac whined after she left

Derek shrugged "you can have it, she's not my type" he simply added back with a grin which the 3 girls mirrored, Boyd said nothing his eyes where to far staring at the grin Erica had on her face.

Stiles doesn't usually mind hearing little whispers going around about Derek, usually because it was good, but then he heard the one where he was supposedly Dating Kate Argent one week and couldn't bring himself to  question Derek on the rumour incase it was true

Derek hadn't heard about the rumour, he never really listened to gossip anyways, all he noticed was his little group putting up a wall between him and the very flirty teenager he sort of learning to hate with how much she bothered him

One day at lunch Derek was to busy looking for the buzzed cut beauty to realise that witch was approaching him, he frowned when he got pulled back before having a lap full of Kate Argent, and with a growl he told her "get the fuck off"

His group where glaring daggers as her and when he caught glimpse of a buzz cut cutie he frowned because it was only for a few moments.

Before Derek had a chance to push her off Erica and Paige had done the job and Derek was on his feet and out the cafeteria ignoring the current argument of his friends and the witch as he went to go and find Stiles

He found Stiles on the lacrosse field bleachers crying, he rushed over to the boy and knelt infront of him "why are you here, you have a prettier girl in there waiting for you" Derek shook his head and sat besides the crying boy with a sigh "I only look for one cutie at lunch time"

Stiles just wiped his eyes with another sniffle "she must be cute" Derek raised an eyebrow to Stiles who's head was down and tearful "he's absolutely adorable" Stiles looked up at Derek, who reaches out and wipes the tearful cheeks "whats the rumour that got you so upset, because if it's Kate, she's far from cute and more gross

Stiles leaned on Derek burying his face in the older boys shoulder "everyone saying your dating, and then I saw her in you lap today and I just couldn't ignore it anymore" he sniffles

Derek moved his arm to pull Stiles into his side "I've only dated one person in my life" Derek pulled Stiles head up "that cutie is you" he placed a soft chaste kiss on Stiles lips who practically melted into it, painting his cheeks pink

Stiles couldn't help but beam up at his boyfriend

The next rumour Derek started himself, he didn't mean to, expecially outing Stiles was not part of his plan, Isaac started asking about Stiles and Derek had grinned at him and said the boy had a boyfriend, obviously Theo had heard this and started spreading around that Stiles was gay and that someone was stupid enough to date the hyperactive Spaz

Once Erica Lydia caught heat on the rumour and had cornered Theo, it shut him up but by then it was to late because the whole school was talking about it, some of them even saying they knew it.

Some people didn't catch on the boyfriend part and started making rumour that Stiles was stalking Derek when Derek just felt sorry for the younger boy which wasn't the case.

When Derek heard the rumour he looked to his friends who looked more pissed of then him and Derek was in his last year of school I didn't want people bullying Stiles or spreading rumours anymore, so he started a better one

Derek went up to one of the little chatter boxes "oh hey Derek, did you hear, Stiles has a crush on you"

Derek raised his eyebrow "did you hear it's ok for my boyfriend to have a crush on me" the smirk on his face at the shocked look "he's adorable isn't he" Derek said folding his arms  the boys in the group where shocked as the girls gushed, Derek's own group stood with a smirk

"Do me a favour, Tell the whole School Derek's boyfriend is Adorable" Erica grinned and soon helpped spread the rumour

When Derek found Stiles pouting the next day by his locker Derek only smiled at the cuteness "what's up, mischief"

Stiles looked up at Derek, "I should stop listening to rumours, highschoolers are cruel" Derek laughed and Stepped up to Stiles "I think you'll like the next one"

Derek was right, Stiles more then liked the next rumour, he'd walk down the halls and hear whispers of "that's Derek Hales boyfriend" or "they are right he's adorable" when Stiles found Derek just before class he said nothing and just wrapped his arms around Derek "hey baby" Derek whispered pulling him closer

"Sometimes I hate rumours, but your one is the best" Derek grinned "I know right" Derek chuckled kissing the top of his boyfriends head
