Chapter 41
"Landon where are we going" Tyler and I asked. He just looked back at us and smiled.
"It's not a surprise if you find out"
"It better be good, I told sarah I would stay with her for lunch" Tyler said.
"Oh my god, Sarah! She probably thinks I got kidnapped or really sick. I can't believe I just left like that" I said brining a hand to forehead.
"It's alright I'll just text her" Tyler said calming me down. We drove for another twenty minutes before I saw something familiar. I saw the same gates I saw when I came to landons , well his family's huge house.
"Are we at your family's house?" I asked
"Well technically now it's my house" Landon said. I couldn't believe this huge, amazing house belonged to an 18 year old. It was simply gorgeous. When I first came, I was in a horrible situation. I didn't properly admire it.
Landon pulled out his house keys and we all stepped inside. The house remained the same but where was landons brother? Last time I came he was here.
"So I added a game room because this house was way too damn depressing without it" landon said leading us through the corridor. A huge chandelier was placed on the roof by the stairs we went up. We went inside a huge room with a huge flat screen , a couch and a pool table. Plus other cool games. Even an air hockey table.
"Is this where you are when you don't answer the phone?" Tyler said laughing
"One of the places yeah" he said smirking at me. He better not be referring to my house. Tyler and Landon decided to play pool first.
I stood by Landon and watched Tyler hit the white ball which hit multiple other balls. He made one in and then made another. Before landon can take his turn, his phone rings.
He looks at the caller ID and frowns.
"Uh is everything okay, who is it?" I asked him
"It's nothing, I'll be right back" he said walking out of the room, closing the door.
"What's that about?" Tyler asked me
I have him a worried and confused look.
"I'm not sure"
I'm not sure who would be calling him for him to get so upset. He looked so concerned when he saw the called ID. Could it be one of his family members?
After a couple of minutes, he walked back in.
He looked at me disappointedly.
"I have to go take care of something quickly" he said which immediately made me frown too.
"But I'll be back soon so stay here and play for a bit" he said and then he left.
"Whats going on? Seriously?" I whispered to Tyler.
"I have no clue I swear but it can't be good" he responded
"Should we follow him?" I asked
"What ? Like spy on him? I don't think that's a good idea" he said
I didn't listen to Tyler and slowly opened the door. Peeking my head out to make sure landon wasn't still in the near by hallways. I sneakily made my way out the door.
"Ariana wait!" Tyler said following straight behind me.
