Plague
Tears ran down little Tessa's cheeks as people rushed around her mothers hospital bed. Her eyes clung to her mothers face as tears feel down her own. Her Dad pulled her away, out of the room. Tears stained his face also.
Her mother died that day from cancer. The seven year old tried not to cry, wondering why the tears didn't come after the news did. She didn't understand it all right then but latter, a couple years later, she completely broke down.
After the news came about her dad being in a car accident Tessa didn't know what to do. At eleven years old Tessa cowell was left parentless. If it wasn't for her uncle Simon, Tessa would have been an orphan.
Looking back, when she's 19, Tessa claims she was, and still is, an orphan. The broken girl has nothing left, in her eyes.
Just an uncle that loves her dearly.
