i'm tired of songs with no real choruses. in most recently released songs they just say one word in the chorus and then there's an edm beat drop and that sums up the chorus (e.g everglow - bon bon chocoloat, iz*one - violeta. in these songs it's just the same melody repeated a couple of times in the chorus). i get tired of songs like this after only a couple of listens, and hopefully they will soon start doing real choruses where they sing.
of course the instrumental only choruses can also be good but they have to be interesting and not repetitive. if it's just the exact same melody repeated a couple of times it gets boring. some examples of interesting edm choruses are ikon - killing me and loona/jinsoul - singing in the rain. it's also interesting if there's both a real chorus in which they sing and an edm chorus (e.g superhuman by nct127).
