it's fine to only stan one unit of nct. i think it's understandable if you're only into 1 unit because they're all very different. though usually when you've been stanning one unit for a while you start liking the other units too, which is what happened to me. i actually used to be a dream stan but i started liking the other units after a couple of months because some of the dreamies were in 127 etc. too, and i feel like 127's songs needed some time to grow on me which is why i wasn't into them in the beginning.
so in conclusion, if you only wanna stan one unit it's fine. but please keep in mind that they're all still one big group, so make sure to not bash the other units.
