"Ron please call me Emily. Miss rose is so formal" I said making him crack a smile.

Soon enough we were parked in the parking lot of Starbucks.

"Okay Emily just text me when you want me here and I'll come. Enjoy your date" he said making me furrow my eyebrows.

"How did you know I was going on a date?" I asked confused.

"I do now" he said making my cheeks tint a bright red.

"Shit... please don't tell my father or mother. They'll be on my case until the day I leave" I pleaded.

"No worries Emily. What is said in this car. Stays in this car" he said making me laugh.

"Thank you Ron, I'll see you later" I said shutting the door and heading inside.

I scanned the cafe, my eyes finally landing on a familiar head of brown curls.

I walked over sitting across from him in the booth.

"Hi" I whispered making his eyes shoot up from his phone.

"Hey Em" he replied.

"Have you already ordered?" I asked pulling my wallet up to get ready to go up and pay for a drink.

"Yep. I got you your favourite" he said pushing a Starbucks cup, obviously an iced coffee over to me.

"Thank you so much, here" I said handing him some cash to pay him back.

"No no. It's okay" he said pushing my hand back.

"Are you sure?" I asked pushing the money towards him again.

He nodded in affirmation.

"So what job interview are you going to?" I asked curiously taking a sip of my iced coffee, it instantly soothing my throat.

"Uhhh it's- umm. A security guard for this company that holds major concerts"

"Oh that's cool. I hope you get it" I said giving him a comforting smile.

"So what about you? What do you do for a living?" He asked.

"I'm planning on go to college. In Los Angeles. UCLA actually" I said with a smile.

"Oh really, that's amazing. If I get this job it will be held in Los Angeles as well" he said making my heart flutter at the fact that I could still potentially get to know this guy without being on opposite ends of the country.

"Well... I hope you get it then" I said with a blush on my cheeks.

"Yea so do I... So tell me about yourself?" He asked sipping on his iced coffee.

"Whatcha' wanna know?" I asked swirling my straw around in my drink.

"Everything. Favourite colour? Favourite food? Favourite movie? Any pets? Do you have any siblings?" He asked making me chuckle at how straight forward he was.

"Hmm... okay" I said tapping on my chin pretending to think hardly making him shake his head and chuckle.

"Favourite colours got to be Blue. I love pizza. My favourite movie is probably Clueless. I have no pets unfortunately but really want some and I have 1 sibling" I answered taking a sip of my drink at the end.

"How olds your sibling?" He asked.

"He's 24. Just graduated college in UCLA" I said with a smile.

"Following in his footsteps I see" he says clasping his hand together.

"Yeah. I guess so. My parents aren't so fond of me moving across the country though" I said seriously.

"Yeah but that's just how parents are. They don't like seeing there babies grow up" he said sending me a comforting smile.

I sat there smiling at him as I scanned my eyes over him. His fingers running through his brown hair softly. A small scare laying on his cheek and one of his sparkling brown eyes being a lazy one. It actually looking very attractive on him.

"Take a photo it lasts longer" he said with a smirk making my cheeks instantly fire up.

I covered my face with my hands, my face turning as red as a tomato.

"God your cute" he mumbled under his breath.

"Stoooppp. I'm already as red as a tomato" I said shoving him lightly making him laugh.

"No. Red as an apple. Tomatoes are disgusting" he said seriously making me fall into a fit of giggles.

"So I told you about myself. Now it's your turn. Same questions" I spoke making him take another sip.

"Okay. Favourite colour is blue as well. My favourite food would have to be any Chinese food. I don't have any pets and have one sister" he said with a smile.

"How olds your sister?" I asked curiously as to if I knew her.

"She's fourteen. Her names Aaliyah. God she's annoying sometimes but I love her" he said sweetly.

God this guy was perfect in every department. He was definitely attractive and his personality was as perfect as one can get. He was definitely holding all the qualities I looked for in a guy.

"So unfortunately I didn't bring my uno cards, but I would definitely like to see you again and maybe play some uno" he started making me giggle.

"So I was wondering if you wanted to come out to dinner with me tomorrow night?" He asked.

I blushed, my cheeks tinting a light pink.

"Of course I'll come, you better bring your uno cards this time buddy" I said with a small giggle as did he chuckle.

I glanced at my phone seeing it was 11:45am. Jeez does time past when your having fun.

"Oh shit. Is that the time. I have to be at my job interview in 15 minutes" he said grabbing his wallet, keys and phone.

"I'm so sorry to abruptly end this but I really have to go. I'll text you though. Thank you for coming. I had a good time" he said kissing my cheek softly before rushing out of the shop.

I smiled to myself, his kiss lingering on my cheek.

I texted Ron if he could come pick me up now and sat back rethinking about the feeling of Shawn's lips against my cheek, so desperately wishing to see how they felt against my lips.
