I looked at the classroom's door and was expecting Kayden to be there. But I was just not expecting Brett to be there.
Nakasandal siya sa pader habang maraming tao ang kinukuhanan siya ng litrato. Marami ring nakatingin sa kanya. It's even my first time to see him waiting at a classroom door.

Napatingin siya sakin at umirap sa hangin.
"Pati ba naman ikaw?" Natawa ako sa reaksyon niya. He placed his arm on my shoulder and whispered by my ear. "I'm feeling uncomfortable here, let's head to the caf."

Naramdaman ko yung presensya niya na nasa tabi ko kaya sabay kaming pumasok sa caf.
Kitang-kita mo yung gulat sa mga mata ng mga estudyante na kumakain. Palagi naman kami magkasama noon, but right now, like this? Magugulat talaga sila.

I quickly took his arm off of me. "Ang bigat." Sabi ko pa.
"I quit." He placed both of his hands in the air.
"Correction, it's supposed to be surrender." Pagtatama ko.
"Whatever." I gave him an amused smile before going to where Denise and Kayden is.
Kayden was being his typical self, at least with headphones, and Denisse was waving at us. I saw Kayden looking up to where we were. And stood up.
He walked up to me and held one of my shoulders to stop me from walking. "Wait for me here. I'll buy you food."
I bit my lip and nodded.
"Alam mo bang nagasawa yan." Napatingin ako kay Denisse nang sinabi niya yon.
"Nagasawa?" Napakunot yung noo ko. "What?"
Narinig kong napatawa si Brett. "Nain-love kase yan nong mga twenty-two, well, hindi pa naman totally, pero gusto niya lang makapagmove-one sa nangyari."
Nagulat ako sa sinabi niya. "In love?" I suddenly felt like I was being crushed. Of course! Patay ka na sa mundo nila! Hindi naman siya pwedeng mamuhay sa nakaraan diba?
"Kinasal sila, nagkaroon ng anak. Never knew it would be unhappy which was totally unexpected." Biglang siyang napa-aray. When I looked at his sister, she was throwing sharp daggers at him.
