Imagine; you go from foster family to foster family because you run away a lot, but when you end up with Tony, Pepper, Peter and Morgan, you can't run away and you finally accept them as family.

'Well welcome home y/n...' Pepper smiles as she points to the people in front of you.

One grown man, one teenage boy and one little girl, living in a huge tower in the middle of New York.

'Hi...' you say kind of shy.

'Hi y/n, I'm Tony, the dad...this is Peter, my son...and Morgan my daughter, I think you'll fit right in...'

'I wouldn't count on it...' you mutter.

'Peter will Uh, show you your room...' Pepper tries to brighten the mood.

'Come with me and I'll bring you to your own castle...' Peter tries his best to be kind.

You walk with him and Tony immediately makes his way over to Pepper.

'Okay what's with her?'

'Tony, she's a troubled girl and she needs a home...she runs away a lot but I'm sure we can give her the love she needs...'

'What happened to her?'

'Mother abandoned her after her father defended her, the mother was abusive and she had custody. The father wanted to take her away but the mother wouldn't let him, then after she left y/n on the street, she was five at the time...'

'Geez...'

'Try to give her some space okay?, she needs some time to get settled...'

'Soook, this is your room.....' Peter stretches out his arm and you walk in.

It's a big room:

'Do you like it?'

'I do, this is great...' you say in awe.

'I hope we can become like family or whatever..'

'I don't want to be mean and it's not personal or anything but-'

'Listen I get it...you don't have to be all cozy with us if you want to...'

'No it's not that it's just...You know never mind I uh...thanks for showing me to my room...'

'You're welcome, dinner's at six thirty...' he says a tad sad and you nod.

'Thanks...'

Peter walks out and closes the door behind him. You walk through the room, finding other spaces as you go.

You even found a perfect spot to do some reading and thinking.
