A knock on the door awoke me out of sleep.
I walked to the front door and looked out the door.
I seen my homie standing there looking cold af.
I quickly opened the door.
"August what are you doing here at this time"i rubbed the sleep from my eyes.
"Sorry did I wake you?"yes!
"No just come inside quick"i pulled him inside and closed the door.
"What's going on aug"
"My momma kicked me out"he rolled his eyes.
no freaking way.
"Oh my gosh august,why?"i pulled him down on to the chair across from me as I looked in his eyes for the truth.
"Ion know she bein dumb"i slapped him in the back of his head.
"Nah shut up don't talk about ya mama like that"
"What,its true"i slapped him again.
"She wouldn't just kick you out august she loves you, you must of pushed her to far this time"he sighed and laid back on the couch.
"Maybe I did this time, but I can't stop"i nodded understanding this was painful for him.
"Go upstairs august you need some rest"he nodded as a tear ran down my cheek.i hate seeing my boy like this.
"I'm sorry"he kissed my cheek wiping my tear and headed upstairs.
