It was Prom night, and Peter couldn't feel any more guilty than he was now. You were in the middle of the dance floor, surrounded by your friends, your arms wrapped around your friend Bradley's neck.
It had proposed that Bradley had gotten to you first, out of him and Peter. Now, Peter was sat on the roof of next doors garage, watching you as he twirled you around the dance floor, a sharp pain growing in his chest. He didn't want to admit it, but he was out rightly jealous.
Despite the alcohol forcing you to have a good time, with your swaying body lingering on the dance floor, you couldn't help but let your mind fall to Peter. You'd been looking for him practically all night, until Michelle finally told you to 'take a chill pill' and 'have a good time'. No time was ever good when it was without Peter. You wished he was here, whispering sweet nothings into your ear as you swayed your bodies together. Then after the night he would take you back to his apartment and you'd talk the night away.
But he wasn't here, and those fantasies would stay locked away forever.
