I sat on the side of my bed, Ocean Eyes playing through my small white headphones as I watched the world sit and stare back at me.
My mum has just told me that we were moving. Social services had found out about my dad and now the whole school knew. I couldn't deal with the things being said about me, Peter being the only one to support me. So we were moving to California.
"Hey y/n I'm-" Peter paused as he came through the door his slipped his headphones out of his ears, looking over at me.
Tears rolled down my cheeks to the best of his footsteps gaining closer to me. I pulled my knees to my head and sobbed endlessly. I was never going to see him again.
"Hey, Hey, it's gonna be ok" he said, sitting down and wrapping his arms around me. I allowed myself to fall into him, sinking down into his chest. I could feel his head beating against my head. A sound I would only here this once more.
