Dear Diary,

5:00am
We had set an alarm the previous night to wake us up at 5:00am the next morning (aka. Today) and asked the reception to give us a wake-up-call at the same time, so today at precisely 5:00am, a million alarms went off. My phone, my dad's phone, my mum's phone, and the room telephone all went off.

We had to be downstairs by 5:30am so we all got ready; got dressed, washed our faces, brushed our teeth, packed the rest of our stuff. While I waited for my parents to get ready, I did a drawing of Michael from Be More Chill which actually didn't turn out to be a flop! Have a look:

And then we went into the lobby to get picked up by our taxi.
Bye bye hotel.

5:30am
We get in our taxi and we're driven to the international airport in Hong Kong. Here are some final photos of Hong Kong that I took in the taxi:

We do all the usual, checking in our baggage, going through customs, all that stuff. And what was crazy, there were literally no restaurants open to eat at. The only restaurant open was pancaked with customers and only had soups that we don't like (we are a very fussy family, lol).
When we finally find seats and a table, we sit down and my parents just get us each a fruit juice. I get watermelon which was nice. Then we go board.
