Paradise

Let me be your light,
when sorrow calls
and life seems so harsh.

Dress me in lies,
if it so helps your burden;
because I'll carry them as my own.

I'll drink and savor your every word,
study their meaning,
as if it was a religion.

Love me so that I love you,
till we carry each other to the edge of the world,
and have ourselves a feast that is our paradise.
