if it wasn't for those times you said,
"you'll remember me forever."
i'd forgive and forget,
if it wasn't for those times you said,
"letting go of me wont be easy."
i'd forgive and forget,
if it wasn't for those times i said,
"don't let yourself be that foolish."
i'd forgive and not forget,
if it wasn't for all those times,
the pain was too much to sleep at nights.
i'd forget and not forgive,
if it wasn't for all those times,
the pain kept me strong through hardships.
i wouldn't forgive and forget,
if it wasn't for all those times,
you smiled and said "it's different now."
