Jennie and James got married in the woods surrounded by their closest friends and family.  The woodland ceremony was always an unspoken dream of hers since she had always been connected to nature and its beauty, and marrying the man of her dreams with the slightly mint green hair that she loved, made her feel like she was bursting with happiness. In a simple dress that Sally helped her make, she looked beautiful with little wildflowers in her hair as she slowly walked towards James.  Standing with his brothers at his side, James looked amazing in the dabbled sunlight.  They kissed after being pronounced husband and wife and were congratulated by their family and friends.  James took the rope in his hand and offered it to Jennie and they both rang the bell announcing the joy of their union.

Their happiness would never be taken for granted as they both felt they had been given a second chance at life. Not only did the Spook marry them, but he also gave them a property he had inherited from another Spook. In return, Grimalkin promised never to do dark magic again.

They made themselves at home in the Spooks southern cottage surrounded by the old forest. They had worked hard to make the old place livable and lived like ordinary decent people growing their own vegetables and raising chickens and livestock. When necessary, Jennie answered the bell and accompanied Tom on quests but nothing as dangerous as her previous life had been. It was a nice life.

Contentment filled their days and they finally had the children that she had longed for. When their first child was born, Jennie was overwhelmed with the fear that evil would take him from her. He was a perfect little copy of the dear child she had lost years ago. Almost like his soul was reborn so they could be together again. She chose to believe this to ease the pain in her heart. Time and love healed those wounds and little Jamie always brought a smile to her face. The little boy would sleep in the bed with his parents cozy, warm and loved.

Nothing dark filled their lives except the beautiful evening sky that they loved to gaze upon but not more than they loved to gaze into each other's eyes.

One day sitting in their garden Tom asked her, "what is it about my brother that made you fall in love?"

A smile showed on her face as she replied, "He's perfect for me. It's as if he was made for me. I sometimes wonder about that. I wouldn't change a thing."

Tom thought about how much she had changed. It seemed fitting to call her by a different name. There seemed to be no trace of the former witch that was so dangerous. But if the wicked Grimalkin returned one day, it would most likely be in the defense of her lovely family. Beware anyone who would harm even a hair on their head for there is no rest for the wicked.
