News began to appear about what had happened. People questioned the infamous Mr. Doom they known, about what had happened. Doom answered honestly, showing that he isn't afraid for the public to know, and that he accepts it, and even proud of it. Though, everyone expected the society to judge them easily, but didn't really. Instead, had accepted them. Though some are disgusted, but that doesn't really matter, as long as everything is fine

Fiona was arrested. It was obvious that she was the one who hacked not only Sonic's phone, but the school's system and such. Bernadette and Jules accepted Doom. Jules and Doom became a very good friends, as if nothing happened in their past. Their company continued to run good, everything was the way they want

When they had to go on school, everyone approached them, obviously asking what happened, even some girls asked since when Sonic and Shadow were together. It was too ridiculous for them. As expected to the people, some crazy fan girls had a hard time to accept the truth, like said, everything turned out ridiculously for them. But Shadow just laughed it off, after all, what can they do?

That won't be enough to take him away, no matter how the cost, he will still be beside Sonic, they will be together. Nothing can break them

"Soooonic?" Shadow hugged him from behind

"Y-yeah?"Sonic adjusted his eye glasses and closed his book

"It's already time. We're gonna be late for the event in school"said Shadow, still clutching Sonic

"A-ah! I forgot! I'm sorry" said Sonic before he stood up and walked towards the mirror

He fixed his messy quills before checking it once again. When fixed, and he's satisfied, they left his bedroom

"Mom? You comin'?" Sonic knocked

"Yes! But I will be ahead of you. You two should ready go"

"You sure mom? We can wait. Right Shads"

"Of course" Shadow smiled

"It's not really that late. It should be fine"He continued

"...I still refuse. You two should really go. I'm fine. I promise. I'll only be a little late. I can catch up with you two"Bernadette said

Sonic couldn't help but just sigh and shrugged

"Okay mom. Promise me you'll go there alright? Later..."said Sonic before they had completely left the house and got into the car

"Everything you need are here?" asked Shadow

"Yes. Nothing forgotten. We can go"Sonic said, shifting from his seat

"Okay" Shadow only nodded

"Is Mephiles and the others had already gotten there?"

"Uhhh, yeah. And we're the only ones whom they're waiting for"Shadow sighed

"Anyway, your father's already there, yes?"

"Uh-huh. It's really happy to think of..."Sonic suddenly muttered

"Hmm?" Shadow raised a brow

"I mean... My dad and yours are now best friends... And everything is okay now. As if nothing happened before... Nothing to worry about"Sonic happily said

"Of course"Shadow smiled

"Here we are, finally"Shadow said, entering the school, letting the guards open the gates first

After Shadow parked the car, both excitedly got out and looked for Tails and his other friends. Seeing them wave not only from a far distance, Shadow grinned and took a hold of Sonic's hand before walking towards their friends

"The party's already starting. You guys had just arrived on time"Knuckles winked

"Heh. Yeah"Shadow chuckled

"Son"A voice was heard from behind

Shadow looked behind his shoulders, seeing his dad with Jules

"Dad"Shadow smiled

"Sweetheart!"A new voice joined

"Mom?! But... How... How come you've arrive so quick?!" Sonic exclaimed

"Told you, I'll be right behind"Bernadette winked, making everyone else laugh

"This is so fun"Sonic hugged Shadow

Shadow returned the embrace and kissed Sonic, not caring if everyone is watching them

"Aww!"said everyone

Sonic blushed and tried to hide his face. Seeing this only made Shadow laugh

"I love you, Sonic"

"I love you too"said Sonic before another passionate kiss happened

"Let's go enjoy this day"Shadow grinned

"Of course"Sonic said, hugging Shadow again
