Shadow hold his chest,his legs collapsed. He's running again,from his bullies. They almost killed him. He was only lucky that he let go of the tight grip of the ring leader. He dreadfully looked at his surroundings,wanting to know if they are still following him. Gladly,no. He stood up,and started to walk on their home. This happens everyday. Bullies,beating crap out of him. Calling him 'faggot','weakling','stupid',every insults you can imagine. Shadow wouldn't go home if his bullies hadn't take his money, or else,they'll beat him,badly. The teachers didn't notice that their student isn't in the school. The teachers didn't notice he was missing. Simple,because they all don't care. It's traumatizing, you're always paranoid in school,seeing if your bullies are after you. No one notices how Shadow's face go pale when he see his bullies,no one knows how broken he was

He felt so worthless
He felt so weak
He felt so vulnerable
His mind is shattered,
Yet,no one noticed,
His mind and soul is traumatized,

Shadow looked at his bleeding hand. Due to how he defend himself from the ring leader killing him on the spot,he'll endure the pain tomorrow. He had a black eye. He didn't know what to feel,a twelve year old boy,who is supposed to enjoy his life at his age,experiencing this things. He didn't know what he had done wrong. Nor what did he do for them to despise him. If he tell his parents,the bullies will kill him

Next Day

Everyone looked at Shadow with the face of disgust. Shadow looked down in shame. He felt as if they see a filth. He entered to his classroom,even the teacher,showed the same face expression at Shadow

When the whole period was finished,Shadow walked alone

"Look what we have here"A familiar intimidating voice said,making Shadow shiver

"We can finally make him pay back"One of them said

"Give me your money, punk"The ring leader said

Shadow didn't budge,but,looked at the ground blankly. What will he do now?No one can save him

"Are you listening to me?"The ring leader growled

Shadow looked at him with fear,making the ring leader smirk

"Come on,baby boy,give me your fucking money and it's all done. Or,I'll force you too"The ring leader took out his pocket knife

Shadow couldn't help but stare. He still isn't moving. He forgot to bring extra money with him

"I...I d-don't have"Shadow let out a whimper

"Well,I guess will take the prize of beating you"The ring leader smirked

Shadow's eyes widened,as tears started to come out. He couldn't move,he couldn't talk,he couldn't do anything. He can't scream. He couldn't move his feet to run

What's happening to him?

He looked at the people surrounding him,to his surprise,everyone was there. Judging him. His father,calling him weak. Or is it just his imagination. When he shook his head,he saw his bullies walking towards him,slowly

Why are they slow?

Suddenly,the voices of the people judging him,he heard him. Tears started to stream down on his face,he couldn't take this anymore

It hurts

It hurts that it made him feel like he wanted to kill them all,beat them all

He angrily look at his bullies,this time,he had the courage to defend himself

His mom found out about the bullying,and took no hesitation to go to the school. When Shadow got home,he was covered with bruises and wound,his mother noticed,and Shadow told her the truth and break down

There,the ring leader was expelled,and the rest of his bullies are suspended for months

Later,while they are walking home,he still felt the same feeling. Same feeling of being a weak. He didn't know why. But he dreaded that his bullies might come back,and take revenge. He knew them too well

Suddenly,a car was driving fast that it almost hit him and his mother. His mother,furious,knocked at the driver's door and confront him

"Sir,can you please watch your speed?You are driving hastily that you almost hit my son. Besides,this is not a highway for you to drive with that speed"

"Oh shut the fuck up!Who cares! I'm the king here,and you woman,are nothing but a peasant. So what if you both die?Don't worry,you both will have a nice funeral, especially your son"

The said driver drink his beer and smirked

"Excuse me?"

"Ya hear me"

That did it. She slapped the man

"How dare you talk to a woman like that!You are the one who's mistaken,and you have the guts to be mad at us?!"

The driver was angry,and rubbed his cheek before slamming the bottle of beer in his mother's head. His mother stumbled and fell

The guy took out a pocket knife

"Shadow!Run!Quick!"his mother said

"M-mom I..."

"Baby,save yourself. Now go!"His mother said

Unexpectedly,the driver's pocket knife buried into his mother's head. Shadow screamed. The driver looked at the dead body in shock.

"S-shadow...baby,I love you. Go S-shadow...go.."His mother managed to say

His mother's eyes is wide open,like she's still alive. The driver looked at the Shadow,whom slowly made his way to run

His mother's dead. Because of him. Because of his vulnerability. Because of how weak he is. If he was brave enough,he could save his mother. His father wouldn't wail. His father wouldn't despise him. Shadow was transferred into his dad's school. He sat into his room,thinking of everything. Shadow wiped his tears and looked at his mother's picture. The driver had gone into jail,but Shadow felt that wasn't enough. If he wasn't such a scaredy cat,his mother is still alive. He clenched his fists. He had enough of being a weakling

From that,Shadow studied Karate. And did everything to have an infamous reputation in their school. He became a troublemaker,and the bad boy of the school. He feared no one,he made himself look intimidating
