Sonic's gaze watch the group of students,who entered in the library. Not many students come to library,now,students in the library can be counted by fingers. Sonic closed the book he was finished reading. He stood up and find his way to the same shelf he got the book. He placed the book nicely and left the place

Whilst walking,Sonic noticed a smoke,not far away from where he was. He stopped for a moment. The figure was getting closer. He didn't know why,but he hid. He noticed the said figure,Shadow. He was smoking,his brows are furrowed. Sonic often see him like this. His brows are furrowed,sometimes confused...and even sometimes,sad. He know why. It's either because of his father,or something else. He sympathize him,but of course,he only kept that to himself. He noticed he was staring at him. He stood up. Until,he didn't realize he was staring too long at Shadow

"What are you lookin' at?"Shadow growled

Sonic's eyes widened. He gulped

"What are you looking at?"Shadow asked with more venomous voice this time

"I-i-i-I"

A punch was suddenly thrown into his face. Then,he was lifted. Shadow threw Sonic's back into the wall,making the azure hedgehog groan in pain

"You,you students always judges me. Calling me a troublemaker,useless,a bad influence...well fuck you guys!You don't know anything about me. They're just like you. Judging me the fact that I smoke?Psh"Shadow spat

Sonic understand. Shadow had been feeling pain,even when he wasn't still in this school. The library was far from them,no one can hear them

He didn't realize Shadow left him. Instead of feeling anger,he felt sad. Not for him,for Shadow. He slowly stood up,he understands why he was hurting him. He just shook his head,then continue to walk
