"Shadow!! Please open the door!!"A voice yelled outside

Shadow quickly stood up and opened the door for the said person outside. Mephiles dropped the things,need for their stay in one week

"Fucking finally"He cursed,catching his breath

"Do you know how heavy those are?It's like I'm lifting a massive things!"He complained

"Oh. So you brought your car with you now?"Shadow asked

"Of course. Just what you have asked earlier,duh"Mephiles teasingly rolled his eyes

"I'll bring those upstairs"Sonic said

"No!No. We're okay with this"Mephiles quickly stopped the hedgehog,who was attempting to stand up from his seat

"Where's the guest room?"Tails asked

"It's beside my room Tails"Sonic said

"All done"Knuckles sat on the sofa

"It's getting dark"Tails said,looking outside

"Oh. By the way,no assignments and quizzes. Teachers just talk over lessons. Nothing important. Oh,but,we had an activity. The lesson's,not that difficult to understand. All of the class learned it quickly"Explained Tails

Trying his best not to worry his friend about the discussion

"Thanks Tails. But,did the teachers told you guys to bring some requirements needed for their subject?"

"Nope. But,our adviser said,something special will be done for tomorrow. Don't know what"Tails said

"Anyway,"Shadow cleared his throat,to get everyone's attention

"We're here to make Sonic rest properly. Not to make a mess,on any of his property here. No cussing"Shadow sternly told them,but,it was more specifically for Mephiles

"We're here to make sure he'll be doing well"Shadow sighed

"Yes dad"Mephiles chuckled

"Oh, we'll be preparing dinner"Mephiles stood up,and head his way on the kitchen,followed by Knuckles and Tails

"Sorry if I may look,like,'ya know,a kill joy. I just...want you to be well doing now. It made me worried sick of what happened to you lately"Shadow kindly smiled at the azure hedgehog with affection and caring on his eyes

"Th-thank you. Sorry if I bothered you"Sonic apologized,his head down

Shadow sighed for the sixth time in this day

"I told you,it was fine. Besides,it was my decision. Because,I care for everything about you"Shadow said to him aloud

Sonic blushed and smiled

"Anyway,while waiting for the dinner,do you want to do something else?"Shadow asked

"I don't know. But it's fine not doing anything, it's okay because you're here anyway"Sonic dragged his words out

The said hedgehog blushed. He never expected those kind of words to be spoken by him

"Shadow"Sonic called

"Hmm?"Shadow hummed in acknowledgement

"I..i wrote a poem about us"Sonic said

The ebony hedgehog almost choke upon hearing those words

"What?I-i mean...could you please rephrase that?"Shadow asked again,this time,leaning slightly on Sonic,to hear if what he had heard was right

But,it was unknown to Sonic

"I wrote a poem about us. Mephiles,you and the others"Sonic said innocently

"O-oh. Can I read?"Shadow asked

"I'm kinda disappointed. Wish you could've right only for us two"Shadow mentally said

Sonic chuckled

"Of course. I was about to ask you that"Sonic laughed softly

"It's in my room. I'll get it"Sonic stood up and dashed his way upstairs

Two minutes later,Sonic came back with a notebook on his hands. Sonic excitedly flip the pages of the notebook,until he found the page with the said poem on it

I use to be sad back then
I use to be so isolated from
others back then
I used to be being on just my room back then

But,the sadness became happiness
Loneliness,turned into an endless laughter with them
And now,I go out frequently

When I found all of you,I felt lucky
I thought,I'll be just myself for eternity
Thanks to all of you,you changed me

I will always cherish all our moments
Because,that's what real friends are

The happiness you all brought in my heart will never change
My best high school life,is about to be on my way

"Sorry it's kinda...cringey. And short. It's just,I want to show you this and...want to hear what you'll say"Sonic shyly bowed his head

"You call this cringey?No way. This was good,Sonic. Not good,but perfect. I felt the feelings you put in every words. You're such a nice person,Sonic"said Shadow

"Th-thanks"Sonic stuttered

"Dinner's ready!"Mephiles called from the kitchen

"Are you planning to show them this too?"asked Shadow

"Yeah"Sonic nodded

"I'll just bring this notebook upstairs"Sonic waved

"Next time, I'll make a poem,of you,and me"
