"Is everyone here?"The principal's voice rang in the gymnasium
But no one bothered to answer him. He just sighed and nodded. He hold the mic and began to speak
"Anyway,as the reason why I call you is we are having an acquaintance party. Also, we're having a special guest"The principal announced
"The acquaintance party will be before two days. Meaning,students will be expected to have a presentation. Selected section will be given a special number. We already picked the sections. We will also be announcing the new student councils tomorrow "The principal said
"Any questions regarding about this?"
A student raised a hand and stood up
"Sir,you said after two days we will be having an acquaintance party and selected sections will be having a presentation. But,only two days?Can we even make it?"The student asked with a tone of doubt on his voice
"Of course,you will. That's why starting now the selected sections will be practicing"Said the principal
"Any more questions??"
No one raised a hand
"Okay. So thank you for coming,I hope you all we'll be prepared. You're now dismissed"
"Will you be going?"Tails immediately asked Sonic as soon they stood up
"I don't know. But I think I will. I'll be asking my parents if I'm allowed to. How about you?"
"I will!I want to know who's this special guest too"Tails said
"Hmm...me too honestly"Sonic bit the bottom of his lip
"By the way Sonic,how's the book I let you borrow?"Tails asked
"I read it,of course"Sonic chuckled
"Thanks for letting me borrow it though. I'll return it tomorrow as soon as I see you"Sonic said
"It's okay. Glad you like it"Tails grinned
"Hey!I was searching for you guys like crazy. And your only here outside"A hand grabbed Sonic's shoulders only to see Knuckles panting
"Oh hey"Sonic said
"Sorry. We didn't see you until we got into the gymnasium. Thought you were somewhere else"Tails apologized
"It's fine. It's just I'm like a dork not knowing you were just right here"Knuckles said causing the two to laugh
"By the way are you two goin'?"Knuckles asked
"I don't know. All I need is a 'yes' from mom and dad. But I wanted to go"Sonic said
"I will"Tails said
"Good"Knuckles smiled
Sonic bit the bottom of his lip again. He stopped the urge to ask Knuckles about the special guest. He is either excited or curious to know who this special guest it. Perhaps both,right?
