"Does it fit right in?"

"Yes"Sonic said

"Good"Jules smiled

Sonic turned his head and looked at the calendar that was not too far from him,but not too nigh too. He can clearly read the month AUGUST

Sonic sighed

"Finally"He mumbled

Sonic suddenly frown. He remember the book he read about months ago. But he wasn't sure if wearing eyeglasses all the time will make your eye dependent on them. But he's sure it'll make his vision improve

"Mom,should I wear my glasses all..all the time?"He asked

"No sweetie. Not all the time. You should take them off sometime"Bernadette said sternly

Sonic nodded

He took off his eyeglasses. The only thing he needed this for was in school

"I'll wear them when needed"Sonic mentally said

- Monday -

Sonic stood up,rubbing his eyes. He yawned before going downstairs. He sat on the table, still sleepy. He began eating his breakfast slowly

After that,he got into the shower and dressed up

"Oh,I forgot something"He mentally said

He walked upstairs before grabbing his eyeglasses on his desk then wearing them

The bus arrived. Sonic closed their door before riding on the school bus. He quickly saw Tails smiling at him. He sat beside Tails

"Cool. Wearing glasses now?"Tails grinned

"Yep"Sonic grinned back

"Just don't wear them all the time"Tails reminded

Sonic nodded

He sighed and closed his eyes

"Who's your favourite teacher so far?"Tails tried to make a small chat

"Hmm...Mr. James"He smiled

"Whoa. Same"Tails laughed

"He's a cool homeroom teacher to be honest. Guess we're lucky to have him"Sonic chuckled

"Oh hey did you remember to bring a cross-stitch for our TLE?"asked Tails

"Yep"said Sonic

"By the way, how's Amy?"Tails asked

"She's feeling much better now. She'll come to school today"Explained Sonic

A little silence before the bus stopped. Sonic stood up and so does Tails. They walked out of the bus concurrently. When they entered the school, Sonic's attention quickly caught the bulletin board. Something new was posted on there. Gladly for Sonic's eyeglasses he quickly saw what's on it

"Clubs!"Sonic mentally cheered

"Tails!"He called for his buddy unable to conceal his excitement

"Look,clubs are available. Just come to the assign teachers of the club. What club you'll join?"He asked his friend whom was now standing beside him and looking at the bulletin board

"Let's see...Music club,Arts Club,Science club,Math club..."Tails mumbled

"There are other upcoming clubs..."Sonic muttered still looking at the bulletin board

"Let's go"Said Tails

As they continue to walk,Sonic spotted a student who seem to be sobbing. Sonic gripped at Tails' arm

"She's crying"Sonic said walking towards the sobbing and cowering girl

"What happened?"Sonic sweetly asked

"B-bully...he-"The girl didn't continue and looked at Sonic with a dreadful eyes before running away

"H-hey!"Sonic yelled but his voice didn't stop the girl

Sonic furrowed his brows. He already had a good guess why the girl was dreading to tell who it was

"Probably Shadow"A voice growled

Sonic turned his head to see Knuckles with crossed arms. Sonic just nodded and stood up beside Knuckles

"I didn't still see Amy"Knuckles said

"Yeah. Perhaps she's going to be late?"Sonic rose a brow

"Almost certainly..."Knuckles murmured

"Did yo-"Sonic was cut off when he was bumped

He saw Shadow walking pass him. Knuckles growled

"That fucker"Knuckles was about to walk towards Shadow but Sonic grabbed him before he can

"Don't. It's okay"sighed Sonic

They opened the door. As what typically happens,Students were talking,throwing papers at each other. Sonic put his bag beside his seat and waited for their teacher
