Nothing's been happening. Nothing has been changed. And that's what worries Shadow. Currently, he's been called by the principal

"Your father's arriving tomorrow..."The principal said

Shadow's eyes widened

"What?! But as what I know, he'll be here after next week!"

The principal shrugged

"I don't know. But he told me about it. Didn't you get the news?"

"No. That's why I'm surprised obviously"Shadow rolled his eyes to the man

The principal merely sighed at his behavior. Let's just say, he's used to it. Though it's always unpleasant to him of course

"Oh, then that's why you're throwing up a shitty event huh!"Shadow crossed his arms

"Precisely"was all he replied

"Just to welcome him eh?"Shadow frowned

"How's you and Sonic?"He suddenly asked

Shadow rose his brow. Why was he asking about him and Sonic?

"We're damn fine. Why?"He growled

"Does your father already know?"

"No. And I don't care. This is my own decision in life. And just like I always say, he don't even care on me!"

The principal secretly smiled. Happy, that he's determined no matter what for the both of them

Shadow slammed the door shut, before looking at the student councils arranging decorations everywhere

"Is the stage already decorated?"

"Yeah. I can't believe this. Mr. Doom is going home on all sudden"

"Maybe he's not too happy to be in another country?"

"Or there's an important reason, duh"

"You guys are talking nonsense. Of course it's an important reason, well, for him"

"Ugh, it just pisses me off, really. He's going to arrive all of the sudden, then made us prepare everything unexpectedly, we lack time right now, you know. It's only 29% of what we had accomplished here"One of them sighed

Shadow cleared his throat, making everyone jump

"Keep complaining, and you'll really waste time. Besides, it's not like you really can do something about it"He coldly said

"You're saying that as if every of my meeting is regarding about some business"Shadow chuckled

"I'm not busy. I'm even bored not doing anything. And don't call me sir, just call me Shadow when we're alone. It's awkward for me"Shadow scratched the back of his head

Shadow? Where are you? It's already late at night for you to go home in this time. Are you busy?

Well, yep. We're decorating the WHOLE damn school. Just because of my father's arrival for tomorrow... I think? But nvm. Sorry if I kept you waiting there. Don't worry, we're finished. I'm about to go home

I turned off my phone and pat my pocket to see if there's my car keys. I took a last look to make sure everyone already left. Seeing no one but me, I shrugged and made my way outside
