"Several transferees..."

"Oh really?I wanna meet them"Mephiles said

He rubbed his hands in anticipation

"That's good then"I shrugged

"How do they look like?"

I raised my brow

"Well...nice?"I said furrowing my brows

"It'll be a surprise for me"He chuckled

"Why do you want to know how they look like anyway?"I asked

That's him. He always ask how people look like in our school. Every time I said there's a new student

Here I am. As usual, I'm reading a book. Nothing special of what I am doing now. My typical routine probably

How about I tell you a little story?

Honestly,since kid this is my daily routine. Reading, relaxing... that's why some of my 'friends' in my childhood always tells me I'm a boring person because of my mundane routine in life. Or 'How can you live in that life?'. It hurt me of course. And that's one of my reason why I'm not good in socializing with people. But mom taught me I shouldn't mind them,as long as I enjoy what I am doing,that's all what is important

"Sonic,your friend Amy is here"Mom called from downstairs

I closed my book as soon as I heard Amy's name. I quickly walked downstairs and opened the door revealing her

"Hi"She greeted

"Hello"I greeted back

I felt like it was awkward,so I tried to think of a subject

"So uhh...have you heard of the upcoming Acquaintance Party?"I asked

"Yep. Tails told me. You going?"

"Uh-huh"I grinned

"Come on in"I gestured for her to enter

She muttered a 'thank you'. I take her to the living room and we sat together

"I'll get you some snacks"I said

"Thank you,Sonic. You're such a gentleman"She smiled

I felt my cheeks heat up. But I tried to hide it. I just nodded before I got to the kitchen

"Do you want sandwiches Amy?"I said before opening the refrigerator

"Sure"She said

I prepared egg sandwich for her with a juice. Since mom's busy, I'll be the one in charge. I put it all in the tray before walking towards her

I sat beside her

As soon as I sat,we ate together

"By the way,what club are you joining in?"She asked

"I'm still not sure if I'm on Math club,or Science club"I said

She nodded

"How about you?"

"Music club"She smiled

"Had you finish your project on History?"She asked

She stopped from eating

"Wait,how about we do it together?"She smiled

"Good idea. Can we send Tails and Knuckles?"

"Sure! It'll be more fun"She grinned showing such anticipation,and so do I
