It creeps behind you
An unsettling touch
An unsettling smell
An unsettling sound
An unsettling sight
A glimpse is all that is needed
A feel that is there
Lurking in the shadows
And it springs on to you
In the cold
Such horrid smell
Such horrid noise
In the dark
And you turn around
Eyes wide
Skin tight
And you take a step back
Nose scrunched
Ears neurotic
But there's nothing here
Just an illusion
A fear of the unknown
It's been so long
No one has come to the Land of Tenebris
No, the Land of Destructive Tenebris
No soul in almost three millennia
I am okay, but the land is going cold
Knock knock
Your Shadow is here
Nature is coming, too
