Chapter One: Coming Home

Megan Anden is a Pokemon Ranger and trainer, traveling home from helping in the Kalos region. She had been helping out there, during their league season. She meet up with another trainer she's meet before, Ash Ketchum from the Kanto region. He aspired to be 'a Pokemon Master'. She admitted that he does have some spirit when it comes to batting, but he needed to do a lot more thinking about batting and how to choose his battles wisely. He's gonna need a lot more work if he was ever gonna make it through an official league. She had to work hard herself, and it paid off. She was now a rotational league champion in her home region of Hoenn. Ash did technically won the Sinnoh league due to a violation of rules by one of the final trainers, who had used illegal catching methods to catch Pokemon, snagging Darkrai, Latios, Ho-Oh, Mew, Lugia and Rayquaza. She actually beat the trainer, Tobias, to free them in a one-on-one match. She won against his abomasnow using her Charizard, Torch.

Megan and her best buddy, and first Pokemon, Electrocute, who was an incredibly stunted raichu, were on the ferry to Hoenn. By appearance, the Ranger didn't look like much. She was 4'9 and had a pretty petite build with tan skin, from being in the sun, but she did have some faint scars on her face and ears from an accident she had before, hazel eyes, shoulder length brown hair. She usually wears different colored and patterned bandanas. Currently, she is wearing a purple, blue and teal swirl bandana. When it wasn't on her head, it was around her neck or acting as a splint for someone, generally an injured Pokemon. She was dressed in a vertical striped variation of reds shirt, navy blue capris, dark blue sneakers and pink socks with pink, white, blue and yellow polkadots. She had a red and black vest that was kinda long on her, but it was all right. It also had sleeves that were extendable. She was wearing a necklace that had several different colored marble orbs. She had a mega ring on her right wrist as well. Her bag was orange with yellow shems around her hips and hung on her right side. Her Pokeballs were on a magnet strip on the side of the zipper of one of the small pouches. The larger, middle pouch, had some of the more necessary items. One of which was her Pokedex, which has the added ability to call anyone registered to it.

She had the numbers of all the officer Jenny's, and Nurse Joy's of the regions, and the number of her uncle, Drake the Dragon Master of The Hoenn Elite Four. Drake was in the Pokemon G-Men, a group that worked towards stopping people from using pokemon for evil deeds and from harming people, they also feel with thief groups. The thieves were often in groups, differing from region to region, but there was some mixing. Several were known to her, but none were more prominent than Team Rocket. She had meet a junction of them, Team Moo, when she was first travelled through Hoenn. They chased her around, quite a bit. Then she confronted the leader of both teams, a cruel hearted man named Giovanni. He had been holding a cloned pokemon of the legendary pokemon Mew. He was called, creatively, Mewtwo and was held by the team for a number of years. Megan helped get him out, but Giovanni confronted her. she battled and beat him in a battle between his nidoking with her gyarados, Tsunami, then his arcanine with Electrocute. Unfortunately, she was caught in an explosion that resulted in her losing the majority of her hearing and damaging her height, so she was forever stuck at the height of a thirteen year old, even though she was actually fifteen. She was unable to participate in the Kanto League, as some regions have restrictions on allowing 'hearing impaired' trainers to compete. She, however, was able to maintain her champion position in Hoenn, and decided to also become a pokemon ranger. There was one other thing that made her different from any other ranger or trainer, Megan possess the ability to understand pokespeak. She often uses her ability to settle disputes between people and pokemon, or to calm any wounded or frustrated pokemon. Her talent has gotten her noticed by several legendary pokemon. She has befriended a lot of them herself.

The ferry was nearing the shores of Little Root town, the first city trainers come to in the Hoenn Region. Megan was looking forward to relaxing a bit before the league cycle starts up again. She couldn't help but feel that she would have another adventure to go on before the league. That was the thing with adventures, they pop up when one least expects them.
