When Kurt got back to Dalton, he slipped into his dorm unnoticed and took a long shower to get the smell of hospital off of himself.

He was getting dressed and fixing his hair when the door opened. "Kurt? You're back?" he heard Jeff ask through the door.

"Yep," Kurt answered, re-bandaging his arms and rolling down his sleeves before walking out of the bathroom.

"Where were you?"

"Family emergency in Lima," Kurt lied easily. "Any idea where Blaine is?"

Jeff shrugged. "I think I saw him in the dining hall last. He's been a nervous wreck since you left."

"Yeah, he's not a huge fan of me visiting the same place where I was bullied." This part wasn't a lie.

Kurt left to go look for Blaine, but he didn't have to look far. Blaine was in the common room, sitting on the couch.

"I'm back," Kurt said, feeling extremely awkward. What does he say? Blaine knows now, things won't be the same.

Blaine looked up, eyes widening. He immediately rushed over and hugged Kurt, who didn't mind the touch as much as he usually did.

"You scared me so much. Please, never, never leave me. If it's weren't for Finn..." Blaine mumbled, beginning to cry.

Kurt wrapped his arms around Blaine. "Hey, hey, it's okay. I'm here now. And I'm here to stay," he said soothingly.

Blaine nodded, still crying. "I don't know what I'd do without you. I love you so much."

"I love you too."

Blaine caught Kurt up on everything he missed, and Kurt told Blaine his excuse for being gone. Everything seemed right again.
