POV: Sebastian

"Mr. Smythe?"

I sat up, blinking blearily and seeing a doctor in the doorway.

For some unconscious reason, I tense up and back away slightly. I nod, showing I heard him.

"You're being discharged today. Someone is coming to pick you up."

"Okay," I say softly. I wonder who it will be? I haven't been visited by anyone except... Kurt, I think, and my sister. I don't know why my parents haven't visited.

About ten minutes later, sure enough, Kurt and my sister come in the room.

"Hi, Sebastian." Kurt hands me some clothes. "We can get going when you get dressed."

I nod, and walk into the bathroom to change. It's a black long-sleeved shirt and jeans. It feels familiar, even though I don't remember ever wearing it. Then again, I don't remember much.

I head back out and Kurt signs me out, showing me to his car.

"Where are we going?" I ask.

"Our school is a boarding school, so we're heading back there. You're on bed rest for a few days, so you'll stay in your dorm but I can bring you meals and such," Kurt explains.

I nod again- I'm doing that a lot recently, but it just takes so much effort to speak.

I look around at the scenery curiously as he heads to our school. I feel like I've seen this path before...

"Dalton," I say suddenly. Kurt and my sister look shocked, and I look over to them. "It's Dalton, right?"

"Yeah. The school's called Dalton Academy," Kurt answers.

My sister grins. "You're remembering. Sebastian!"

I smile softly, looking back out the window. "Maybe I am."

Soon Kurt stops the car, parking it. "I'm walking from here," my sister says, waving and stepping out of the car.

Kurt exited the car as well, and I follow his lead. There's a large brick building in front of us, and like everything else, I swear I've seen it before.

He shows me up the steps and through the hall. We're about to walk up the staircase when somebody calls my name.

"Sebastian, you're back!"

I turn around, confused. A blonde runs over to us, looking extremely relieved. "Thank god, I was so worried when you came back and then disappeared and we al-"

"Jeff," Kurt cuts the boy off. "Slow down a bit. Sebastian has amnesia."

The blonde, Jeff's, eyes widen in surprise and he turns to me, putting out his hand. "I'm Jeff. I'm Kurt's roommate, we're friends."

"I'm hearing that a lot lately," I say softly, shaking his hand.

"Anyway, Jeff, we should probably get going," Kurt says. Jeff nods and waves, and we continue back upstairs.
