Kurt had discovered a great way to make sure he wasn't alone- he'd invite someone back for the weekend with him. Blaine was going to his own parents, but Sebastian didn't really have a family to to back to. All it took for him to come with was Kurt saying he didn't feel very comfortable going back there alone, and Sebastian was completely on board with going.

So Friday at noon, since they had the day off school, Kurt and Sebastian drove down to Lima. Kurt had told his dad that Sebastian was coming back with him, under the pretense of him just wanting his best friend at Dalton to meet his friends back here. He hadn't mentioned Blaine yet.

They had school at McKinley, and Kurt and Sebastian made it back just in time for the end of glee club. They decided to pull up at the school, and Kurt showed Sebastian down to the choir room.

"Are you sure you're okay being here?" Sebastian asked, sounding a bit worried. "Isn't this, you know...?"

Kurt forced a smile, pretending that memories hadn't been flooding back. "It's empty except teachers and clubs, I'm fine."

Eventually they reached the choir room, hearing a voice singing. Kurt chuckled slightly. "That is Rachel, half of everything that comes out of her mouth is a song or something about Broadway."

"Sounds like you two get along nicely," Sebastian said dryly.

"Oh, I don't talk about it nearly as much as she does," Kurt said as they reached the door. Sebastian looked in, seeing a group of kids singing with one on lead vocal, who must be Rachel.

Kurt leaned on the side of the doorframe slightly, watching. It didn't take long for them to spot him.

Rachel abruptly stopped singing, running over. "Kurt! You're back!" She looked like she was about to hug him but stopped herself.

Kurt chuckled. "Not really, I'm just visiting."

"With your boyfriend?" Santana asked, smirking.

"No, this is Sebastian. My boyfriend is busy, Santana," Kurt said, smiling pleasantly at her.

There was an outcry of 'boyfriend?!' and Kurt chuckled. "You'll meet him- eventually."

"White boy, you had better tell us everything," Mercedes said, her sternness ruined by how happy she was for him.

Santana laughed. "Oh, Frankenteen's going to be so pissed. He skipped glee to see you as soon as possible, and here you are, Lady Hummel."

Quinn hit Santana on the shoulder. "You're confusing the boy," she said, gesturing to Sebastian, who blushed slightly.

"'Frankenteen' is my step-brother, because he's ridiculously tall. About two inches taller than you. And I'm 'Lady Hummel,' because I'm feminine, I guess," Kurt explained.

"Isn't that what that jock you were telling me about called you?" Sebastian asked him quietly, so nobody else could hear him. "Why does she call you it?"

Despite Sebastian's practice as a whisperer, they faintly heard him.

Kurt paled a bit. "Um, yeah," he answered equally as quietly.

"Karofsky called you Lady Hummel and you didn't tell me?!" Santana practically shrieked.

"It's not important," Kurt said quickly, flinching at the noise.

"For hell it's not important! You could have told me that!" Santana stopped and took a deep breath, her voice forced calm. "You are now Porcelain. I refuse to repeat anything that scum ever uttered."

Sebastian was surprised by her reaction, despite the fact that he knew the jock- Karofsky, apparently- went to jail and they must have found out.

Kurt nodded. "Um, thanks? I should probably get going, my family's expecting me."

He said goodbye to them and they got back in the car, heading to Kurt's house.

When they finally got there, Kurt knocked on the door and waited. Soon the door opened, revealing a grinning Finn.

"Welcome back, little bro!" he said. God, how Kurt had missed that endearing dopey grin.

"Do I have to remind you that I'm older than you?" Kurt asked, rolling his eyes fondly.

Finn chuckled. "Yes, but you are quite literally my little brother."

"You aren't that much taller than me," Kurt grumbled. "Anyway, Finn, this is Sebastian, Sebastian, this is Finn, my stepbrother."

Sebastian waved slightly, getting the impression that a handshake would be extremely awkward at the moment.

Finn raised an eyebrow at Kurt. "Boyfriend?"

"No, my boyfriend's busy. Anyway, can we come in or will we just stand out here all day?" Kurt said casually.

"You actually have a boyfriend?" Finn asked excitedly.

Kurt blushed, nodding.

"Well, I have to meet him."

"You will. Now, can we come in, or...?"

Finn stepped out of the way. "Right. But like, what's his name?"

Kurt shook his head fondly, walking inside. "Later, Finn. What'd I miss here?"

"Not much. Still haven't found a decent kicker for the football team." Finn shrugged. "But we still win."

Kurt smiled. "I'd offer to train my replacement, but you could say I'm a natural. Translation, I had absolutely no idea what I was doing."

"But you did it well, that's important," Finn pointed out.

"Wait, you played football?" Sebastian asked in surprise.

Kurt nodded. "I was trying to not act gay, I guess, so my dad wouldn't think I was."

"And he does now?" Sebastian clarified.

He snorted. "He knew since I was three, all I wanted was a pair of sensible heels. I wasted all that time trying to be someone I wasn't. I failed, I'm pretty sure that instead of a straight guy I ended up looking like a butch lesbian."

Finn laughed, nodding. "You kinda did, didn't you?"
