POV: Kurt

I heard from Jeff that Sebastian's back. I had knocked on his door before breakfast but he didn't respond, so I assume he's asleep. Getting beat up does take a lot out of you.

So now I'm in the library, attempting to read and keep my mind off him and Macy. It's not really working, I keep reading the same paragraph over again.

"Kurt?" a tentative voice asks.

I look up, seeing Blaine standing there. I tense up, knowing he apologized for his remark but I'm not sure if he was sincere. Nobody just says that.

"Yes?" I ask cautiously.

"I was, um, wondering if you'd like to get coffee together at the Lima Bean sometime. I'd like to get to know you a bit better."

I think for a moment. I mean, it would be rude to refuse. Macy said I should get to know him, right? So I guess I should go?

"Sure. When were you thinking?"

"Well, are you free right now?" he asks hopefully.

"Um, not really. I'm waiting for Sebastian." I pray he doesn't get mad.

He nods understandingly. "You two are really good friends, aren't you?"

I don't really know what to say to that. I mean, I have told him more than I've told anyone else. "Yeah, I guess so."

"So, does next weekend work for you?" he asks.

"Um, yeah," I say, remembering my schedule.

He brightens at this. "Great! I'll see you then. Well, I'll see you before then, in class and stuff, but I'll see you-"

I chuckle slightly. "Blaine, I get it. See you then."

"Right." He smiles sheepishly and leaves.

He seems nice, but I can never tell if it's an act. He got flustered, he was nervous talking to me... does that mean it's not an act?

Just, leaving campus alone with only one other person... it doesn't seem like a good idea. I have really bad luck with these sorts of things.

I suppose I've agreed now, there's no going back unless an emergency arises. Besides, he is rather cute...

Stop it, Kurt, I scold myself. You can't think like that.
