"Aish... Hyung, can you stop eating that banana muffin? We don't have enough muffin to serve today." Jungkook groans at Yoongi, the owner of Sweet Bangtan Café.

"Chill, we can serve toast if we run out of the muffin," Yoongi said in calm, still munching down the muffin.

"Then, this place wouldn't be called as Sweet Bangtan. You know that our specialty is bran muffins." Jimin said, while brewing the coffee.

"Alright, alright... Continue your hard work. I'm going to get my nap." Yoongi said and yawns as he walks away. Both of them shot a death glare to him.

Jungkook glances at the clock. "It almost times." He murmurs to himself while keep looking outside of the café.

"Are you waiting for her?" Jimin said with grins causing Jungkook's face to change to a red shade.

"N-No, I'm not w-waiting for any-one.." Jungkook said with his intermittent stutter.

"Kook-ah, the customer order is café mocha. You should add steamed milk not caramel syrup." Seokjin, who just returned from the kitchen as he was done making more batch of muffins, corrected him when he wrongly makes the drink.

"Ah- Sorry, Jin Hyung." Jungkook sighs as he put aside the drink and made the order again.

"Are you okay? Do you want to take a break and exchange place with me?" Seokjin offers his help.

"Hyung, he wouldn't want to take a rest until he gets to see the girl." Jimin slightly nudges Jungkook, profusely teasing him.

"The girl?" Seokjin tilts his head.

There is a girl who is their regular customer. Every day at four past thirty, she'll come into Sweet Bangtan and order a regular caramel latte with extra foam and sometimes with a chocolate muffin. She would take her seat at one of the tables in the corner, furthest from the door of the café and she would start to scribble on her book while enjoying her coffee.

As usual, Jisoo would stop by her favorite café downtown nearby her college after her class over. The fragrance aroma of the ground coffee and the sweetness of the muffins never fail to make her taste buds ache for a creamy, smooth coffee that she loves as well as her favorite bran muffins.

The café still full of customers as Jisoo enters the café, there is a group of mid-schoolers, probably having a study discussion. Jisoo looks at her usual spot and feels relieved since it's empty. She walks to the counter to order her drink.

"Speak of the devil." Jimin grins at Seokjin while his eyes are pointing towards the girl who just entered their cafe and walked to the counter.

"Hello, Welcome to Sweet Bangtan Café. Do you want the regular order, caramel latte with extra foam?" Jungkook beam as showing his bunny teeth.

"Y-Yes." Jisoo nod as she looks down, her cheeks have slightly shaded in pink.

"Look at him being energetic all of a sudden, he should ask her out, don't you think?" Seokjin said to Jimin in half whispering.

"He won't dare to do it." Jimin chuckles.

After Jisoo paid for her drink, she sits at her usual spot, taking out her book to write or scribble of something while enjoying her drink.

Jungkook still grinning while preparing a drink for the next customer when Seokjin asks him. "If you like her, why don't you ask her out?"

"She might not like me." He sighs as shaking his head.

"Hey, You don't even try yet. Here, take this bran muffin to her and at least ask for her name." Seokjin said while passing over a plate of muffins to Jungkook.

Jungkook looks at his hyung with his big Bambi eyes, as saying thanks.

"H-Hello, we are giving free muffins today. S-So hope you'll enjoy this." Jungkook said timidly.

"T-Thank you." Jisoo nods in awkwardly.

Jungkook glances his back, to Seokjin and Jimin. They are now making inaudible noise at him "Ask for her name."

"May I ask for your name?" Jungkook gulps as he feels his stomach is in a knot.

"J-Jisoo." She stutters in shyness, fidgeting her fingers.

"Can I be your friend?" He offers her hand to shakes with hers.

Her face changes and she immediately gets off from her seat, running out from the café.

Jungkook blinks in confusion as he's watching her dashing out from the café. He could hear laughter behind him, clearly that both of his hyung laughs at him.

Jungkook's head is hanging low down, feeling sad being rejected by his crush. Seokjin said as pats his back. "Maybe she's a shy type."

"Maybe.." Jungkook let out a sigh.

On the next day, Jungkook is walking home when he sees Jisoo was sitting on the bench at the park.

"Jisoo," Jungkook calls her causing she startled out of her reverie.

She tries to run away but Jungkook able to stop her. "Wait!! We need to talk. About something important."

"I... l... I love your face...your adorable way of running your fingers through it when you're nervous...and the stuff in it..and around it. Just you, in general." He swallowed hard, cheeks burning even as he tries hard to maintain his coolness.

"I.. I.," Jisoo said as she stumbled back a step, flustered all over.

He took a step forward and caught her wrist to stop her. "Tell me." He whispers but then she falls unconscious in his arms, and her body went limp.

Jisoo's eyes is shut close and she is obviously has fainted. Jungkook tilts his head and blinks in confusion as he caught her into his arm.

"W-Where I am?" Jisoo looks around after she regained her consciousness.

"Still at the park. Are you okay? Do you want to go to the clinic?" He asks worryingly.

Jisoo shakes her head as her gaze falls on the ground.

"I'm sorry for running away from you on the other day." She sighs as continues. "Since I was 10 years old, after surviving a car crashed, I will get a panic attack and fainted whenever I touch someone or got touched by someone.." She said and holding on the tears from burst out.

Jungkook bit his lip, thinking of what to say.

"You must think I'm weird." She looks away from him, hides her face with both of her hands.

"No, you are not weird," Jungkook said after a while, pulling her closer as he places his hand on the back of her head and gently motions her further into his chest.

He could feel her body quivering because of his touch. "Take deep breaths." He said softly.

"Hear my heartbeat? Just focus on that." He strokes her hair tenderly, continued to soothe her trembling body.

For the first time, Jisoo feels calm just by listening to the comforting sound of his heartbeat. She didn't quite know why, but there was something about it. The rhythm seems to be a melody for her as if she could fall asleep to its gentle beats.

He lowered his head to look at her, lifting her chin to kiss on her cheek. A red blush coated her face as she returns her gaze at him, feeling drowsy.

"You see? No disease is incurable." Jungkook said before he realized that Jisoo lost her consciousness again. "Jisoo?"

He chuckles as he instantly wraps his arm around her to keep her from falling. "It seems that we need a lot of training, Princess."
