Pagkatapos kong magdinner, nagpaalam na ako sa kanila at nagpunta na ng unit nila Kuya. Well, unit ko na ngayon. Yay!
Sinakay ko lahat ng gamit ko sa kotse na gagamitin ko na simula ngayon. Binenta nila yung luma kong kotse at bumili ng bago dahil hindi na raw nagagamit yun noon. It's a Hyundai genesis Coupe, it's really smooth. I love it. Okay, wala na talaga akong tampo sa nanay ko. I headed straight to Makati.
Pagkarating ko doon, nagpatulong ako sa mga nakabantay sa baba para iakyat yung mga maleta ko. I also gave them my keys for them to park my car.
"Thanks, here." I handed them their tips. Tatlo lang naman sila.
Kuya has a nice place. It's overlooking the city. I've been here a couple of times before and I like the interior design. It's a combination of white walls, black and red furnitures.
It has two rooms. Maybe they use the other room pag magkaaway sila, lol.
I just looked at the city for like half an hour and thought of him.
What's he like now? What will happen if ever I'll see him again? But at the back of my mind, I would really like to see him...
It's Saturday today... I'd really like to go out. Maaga pa eh. 9 am pa lang.
Hindi pa ako nagbreakfast. I'll just eat outside.
Naligo na ako at nagbihis. I just wore shorts, a shirt, flats and I'm off.
Kakain lang naman ako eh. Pumunta na ako sa may elevator at bumaba sa may garage ground floor.
Pumasok ng kotse at nagpunta ng mall. Namiss ko kumain sa Jollibee, hihihi. Kaya dun ako nagpunta.
I just ordered spaghetti and an iced tea. I can't go on heavy.
Natapos na akong kumain at naisipan ko munang maglibot ng mall.
Naglalakad lang ako nung biglang may nakabunggo ako.
"Aw, I'm sorry miss." Sabi ko sa babae. Wala namang natumba sa amin pero nahulog kasi yung paper bag na hawak niya. Inabot ko naman yung paper bag at binigay sa kanya. Nagulat ako kung sino siya.
It's Andy...
Napangiti ako agad.
"Hoy babae!" tawag ko sa kanya dahil nakayuko pa siya.
Hindi ko ma explain yung reaksyon niya dahil parang nagulat pa siya na para bang nakakita siya ng patay?
"H-hey, Re-Reena." Ngiti niya, but it doesn't reach her eyes.
"Aren't you happy to see me?" biro ko sa kanya.
"What? Of course I'm happy to see you. Uh-uhm.... Kailan ka pa nakabalik?" pilit pa rin ngiti niya eh?
Sasagutin ko sana siya pero may nagsalita sa likuran ko.
"Andy, you done? Come on. Let's go." And that all it took for my heart to skip a beat.
Yung boses na yan... Oh Kev. Natatakot akong lumingon, natatakot akong makita siya.
Lumapit siya sa amin dahil parang naiinip na ata siya.
"What are you still-" napatigil siya sa pagsasalita nung makita niya ako.
I looked at him straight in the eyes, binabasa ko kung ano ang nasa isip niya o kung ano man lang yung sinasabi ng mga mata niya but he's not giving anything away... he's not saying anything. He was just there, staring...
There was just silence but Andy broke it. She cleared her throat. Nalipat naman ang tingin ni Kevin kay Andy. Wait... are they together? Napakunot yung noo ko sa kanila.
I was expecting mag h-hi man lang siya sa akin or anything. Kahit anong recognition galing sa kanya but no. He's disregarding me.
"Can we go now? I still have work on some plans." Sabi ni Kev kay Andy.
"Uhm... yeah, sure." Pagkasabi nun ni Andy, umalis na sa harap namin si Kev.
"Ree, we have to go but I'll catch up with you sometime. Okay?" Paalam niya. She didn't even wait for my response at umalis na lang sila.
What the fuck is happening right now? Hindi ko napigilan pero parang may tinik na nagparamdam sa dibdib ko.
Is he dating Andy? And what was that? We have to go? What happened in the last three years? What happened to Mike and Andy?
