The week before the Field Trip

"What happened Jarvis and Travis? Didn't we already talk about your abilities? I already told you not to use it to hurt others!" My brothers looked at each other. Tsk.

Andito kaming apat sa opisina ni Dad. He's furious about what my brothers did. If I'm their father, I'd be in rage too. Hell, they didn't just go ballistic during their History class- they also inflicted pain on our schoolmates.

Ano ba kasing nangyari? Bakit ayaw nilang magsalita?

"Speak up." I sighed. I'm already tired and my body wants to go to bed.

"Dad, they were bad mouthing Alexandria and our family."

"That's not an acceptable reason. I already told you to be a good example. Hindi dapat kayo nagpapadala sa emosyon niyo!" Napa-hilot naman sa sentido niya si Dad. Mukhang stress na stress siya sa'min. I can't blame him, though. He's already got a lot in his plate.

"What are you saying Jarvis? May iba pa bang estudyante dito na kapareho ng ability niyo?" Hendrix asked.

       Napa-isip naman ako.

"There is someone." I think it means we all know who I am referring to.

"Anong gagawin natin Dad? The whole school believes that it's Travis and Jarvis' fault."

"We'll let them think that way. Just suspend us for three days. Travis suggested.

"And that's okay with the both of you?" Dad asked. Why does it feel like this 'suspension' is favorable to the both of them?

"If there's nothing more to talk about then I'll go first."
