Lovely's POV:

I'm fairly certain that Yshi is already aware of my presence here. My instincts tell me as much, and I've informed her about my upcoming appearance here before. If she finds out that I'm not yet officially enrolled, she could easily have me expelled or, worse, banned from the campus. That's why I hurriedly tasked Mica to find a solution to my problem. Besides, I genuinely like their uniform.

"Yes, do it now," I said with a grin to Mica, and promptly ended the call.

Mica wouldn't dare disobey me, given our history in the club, and my higher position in it than her.

Napangisi naman ako nang maalala ano ang nangyari sa Cebu noong mga nakaraang buwan. I had a brief sparring session with Yshi. I knew she was a skilled Karate practitioner, and her techniques were impressive, that's why she belonged to that club. However, my main focus here wasn't really about her. I came to this university to make a show and to grab attention. This would be the beginning of the game, and I was more than ready to play.

"Hey."

I halted my steps and shifted my gaze to the woman who had just called my attention. To my surprise, it was the same woman I saw Jayvee with yesterday, and his childhood friend.

"Well, look who's here. It's Lovely, the queen of drama and chaos. You really should reconsider showing up here, it's kind of disgusting."

I smirked at her funny words. I'm no stranger to snide comments and catfights, but I'm not in the mood to engage with Mildred. She only knows my name but she clearly doesn't know me whole, and I won't stoop down to her level. Dealing with this girl is a distraction. Maybe she needs a little reminder of who she's challenging. Should I give her a taste of what I can do, even if her previous encounter with me didn't go so well? I don't know why she's so confident, but she's about to find out that I can be much worse.

Come on, go get your childhood friend out of my sight, Christine.

"Oh, Mildred, dear. Thanks for the warm welcome. I see you're still as sweet as ever. You know, I've been told drama adds a little excitement to life. Maybe you should try it sometime."

Her brows raised immediately at that. I don't know if she got offended by my sarcasm or she just really wanted to raise her brow to make it look mataray.

"The long-lost queen of drama herself," she commented.

I smirked. "Your words are truly touching. I can feel the love in the air."

"You always did have a flair for the dramatic, didn't you?" she said, rolling her eyes at me.

"Guilty as charged. It's a gift, really," I replied, batting my eyelashes.

"A gift? I always thought it was more like a curse."

"Well, curses, gifts, it's all a matter of perspective, darling."

"Perspective, right," she said sarcastically. "I'm sure the world just couldn't wait to have you back."

"Oh, I know. I'm practically a national treasure," I said that made her raise her eyebrow.

"National treasure, huh? You really have a way with delusion."

"Delusion, charm, it's all part of the package, darling," I said while waving my hand dismissively.

"You know what, Lovely? You haven't changed a bit."

"Some things are just too fabulous to change," I said, grinning. "Oh, you know, it's such a struggle being fabulous all the time."

"I can see that. Your fabulousness is blinding."

"Yes, yes, I know. It's a heavy burden to be this amazing."
