Chapter 20: ➢Deformed Snapchat Filter

Start from the beginning

DAMN HIM!

"Nothing," I squeaked quickly, to avoid almost choking on my own words under his panty-wetting green eyes. Both of them continued watching me questioningly, making me sweat even more.

Man Im gonna be swimming in my own perspiration in a few minutes.

I cleared my throat, "I'm just tired that's all,"

Because I got zero sleep last night after accidentally kissing that damned asshole of a gang leader.

Silence coated the room for a few seconds before suddenly Gabe leaned over, "Come here," He spoke softly, grabbing my face in his hands.

"Uh Gabe-"

Before I could protest, he placed my head on his shoulder, almost making me slip out of my chair and wrapped his arms around me, "There there Sky, I know it must be hard coming back here," He cooed patting my back like he was burping a baby.

I didn't struggle, smiling softly into his shoulder. Man these guys. I've honestly grown to love all these buffoons that I now am starting to call my own family.

Gabe, Natasha, even Jason that dickweed.

For a moment I felt all warm and fuzzy. Like both my parents had not abandoned me. But that didn't last long, because within seconds of my happiness, Xavier's dark voice snapped me out of it, "Gabe, go check if the gang has everything packed to go home," He ordered

I was quickly pulled out of Gabe's embrace as his eyes flicked to his leader, before giving him a curt nod. Giving me a quick smile, he stood up and I quickly slipped out of the barstool, about to follow Gabe out in pursuit like a little lost duckling. Damn am I happy to leave Xavier's glare.

"Not you Sky," Xavier commanded, making my smile fall like a leaves in Autumn. DAAAAAAAMMIT!

Gabe glanced back at my pleading eyes, begging him to come carry me out of being duck soup int he next few minutes. He looked at me helplessly before ambling out of the room, not even looking back twice. I swear it's every duck for themselves in this gang.

Silence drowned the room once again as I refused to turn around and look at Satan in black jeans over there. Instead I remained quiet, listening out of movement, perhaps the sound of the safety on a clock clicking off.

"Sky," Xavier's voice sliced through the silence, "Look at me,"

Fuck on me, yeah.

"Oh hell nooOOoo," I clenched my eyes shut, fisting my hands in my face to avoid looking at Xavier's face. The sound of a mug hitting the countertop bench rang through the room, followed by Xavier's boots rapidly hitting my kitchen tiles advancing towards me.

RUN SKYLER! RUN LIKE THE WIND!

Before I had a chance to yeet out of there, Xavier's warm hand clasped around my wrist. In one swift move, he kicked close the kitchen door before slamming me against it, caging me from diving out the window.

I squeezed my eyes shut, refusing to look at him for two reasons.

1. Never look Medusa in the eyes.

2. Avoid another Niagara Falls at the wrong time AGAIN.

"Sky, look at me," He boomed again, making me almost shit out all the ice cream I've ever pigged out on. I shook my head rapidly still keeping my eyes sealed and nailed closed. "Sky fucking look at me right now,"

Okay now you're about to get your little brain blown out Sky. Shut up and obey.

Slowly, I peeked at him through my squinted eyelids. His deep emerald eyes gazing down at me as if about to burn a hole through me all the way to China. "Yes?" I mumbled innocently.

"What happened last night," He began. Damn he does not beat around the bush.

"Pssssssht don't worry about it buddy," I chuckled awkwardly, patting his shoulder with my free hand, "All is forgotten," I lied through my teeth. Im never forgetting that. That is scraped into my brain like ducking cave paintings.

"Don't lie to me,"

Busted.

He stepped closer to me, just close enough for me to smell his coffee minty breath. Holy moly Niagara Falls be running.

STAY SERIOUS SKYLER!

"Whatever happened last night," He began once again, looking directly into my eyeballs as he spoke. I swear he smells my fear. "was a clear accident," He spoke, his words making my heart sink.

An accident

Of course I knew it was an accident, but him announcing it like that, made it hit me harder than the school bus at Regina George.

"Y-Yeh, I know," I replied, trying to keep my voice intact. Man I feel like Ive been infused with Kanima Venom.

He paused for a few moments, his eyes reflecting a completely different emotion from the words he had just said to me. But it was gone as soon as it came, too quickly for my Flash the sloth brain to decipher.

"So don't you dare tell anyone it happened," He added sternly, "Deal?"

I stayed silent. This asshole took my first ducking kiss, calls it an accident and now I'm not suppose to tell anyone. How was I suppose to be a teenage girl now?! "Deal," I sighed helplessly.

"Good," He breathed. Something in his eyes flickered for a second once again before he released me.

Throwing open the kitchen door, Xavier stormed out.

🐥 ---------------------------🐥

When I said Sunday, I meant like a week later lol.

I'm so sorry it's short but I wanted to save ya'll from the cliffhanger before I was gonna continue. And trust me I was about to go big in this chapter when I realised Xavier is too fucking stubborn at the moment to be the guy I need in the climax of this.

So on we go on the Gangleader Paction joyride to another chapter :))
