1st year highschool...

"Maddie!" Bea exclaimed. Maddie looked at her worriedly.

"O, first day na first day, late nanaman ang kaisa-isahang dyosang si Beatriz?" She teased.

"Shut up, Mads. I'm not in the mood. Late na nga ako o!" Bea said.

"Eto naman. Di na mabiro." Maddie jokingly replied.

"Tara na, flag ceremony na o." Maddie told her.

As they walked to the court, Julia suddenly popped out of nowhere.

"Hey, Bei? I saw you talking to the handsome guy earlier... Umm... Do you know him?" Julia asked curiously. Bea looked at her and raised an eyebrow secretly.

"Y-yes? Classmate ko sya in my previous school. Bakit?" Bea asked back.

"Ano kasi... You seem really close, I wanted to ask if you could introduce me to him?" Julia begged.

"Sige." She answered carelessly.

"Thanks!" Julia ran to the court, as Bea and Maddie exchanged glances.

"Anong nangyari dun?" Maddie asked.

"Parang baliw. Tara na nga, nahuli na tayo!" She exclaimed.

"Hala! Totoo?" Jho asked.

"OA naman nito. Oo nga!" Maddie said.

"Shh! Kumain na nga kayo. Daldal nyo." Bea complained.

"Nako. Kung ako sayo, Bei, tatanggihan ko yang si Julia. Ang landi-landi nun! Baka agawin pa sayo si Thirdy!" Jho warned.

"Anong agawin? May crush ka kay Thirdy?! Homayghadd..." Ponggay exclaimed.

"Ang OA nyo talaga kahit kailan." Maddie complained again.

"Wala akong crush kay Thirdy. He's just an old friend back in the days... nothing more, nothing less." Bea answered calmly.

"I guess I already answered your questions, kain na ko." She continued, making her friends laugh.

A few minutes later... Julia came in with Cassandra.

"Bei, ano na? I thought you're going to introduce me to Thirdy?" She whispered madly.

"I'm eating, Julia. Mamaya na la—"

"Umm... Excuse me, can I talk to Bea for a minute?" Thirdy came out of nowhere, asking the girls if he could borrow Bea.

"S-sure..." The girls answered shyly, but deep inside, they were screaming. Thirdy smiled at them, and then he pulled Bea outside the canteen, leaving Julia at awe.

"Bei... samahan mo ko sa canteen? I need to buy food." He whispered.

"Why? Wala ka bang classmate na pwede kang samahan?" Bea asked.

"Bago lang ako dito, remember?" He reminded.

"E di sorry na. Sige na nga, pero libre mo ko." Bea joked.

"Sige." He answered.

"Hala! Joke lang! Di na mabiro ah." Bea replied.

"No, I'm serious. Dali na!" He begged. Bea laughed at him, and he decided to pull her to the canteen.

"Shucks! Ganto ba talaga sya sa babae? Hahawakan ng bigla-bigla ang kamay?" She asked herself.
