You go on your first expedition together.

Eren: He was either confident in your abilities or was too caught up in being part of Levi's squad. Whatever it was, you still felt heart broken as you got into formation beside Armin.  Somewhere in the right-wing Eren was stationed. However, you couldn't believe he would be there. Especially, since the safest part of the formation was in the centre. So with Armin, you agreed that is where he was hidden, amongst many complications and deceit. It struck you that Eren didn't even trust you with that information, that he cared more for the scouts than a relationship of ten years. That showed you how badly he wanted this and how much he would fight for you...

Yet, you couldn't leave him- no. You would never leave him. Deep down he needed you. And if he didn't know that, you, Mikasa and Armin certainly did.

"You'll never leave me (Y/N)... Right?",

"Never, I promise".

Armin: He would be extremely anxious, especially since it's your first expedition. Plus, you and Armin were the brains of the group, far from the brawn. So, having both of you being mediocre at the ODM Gear and unable to attack a Titan at full force, you would sit on the side lines to think on your feet for plans.

However, when you were gripped in a strong hold of a monstrous Titan. He was frozen. He couldn't move due to his fear prickling at his sensitive skin. While Reiner was trapped with the female titan and Jean was busy was a persistent nine metre, Armin forced himself to watch as you screamed bloody murder. Your wails of terror were branded in his memories as crimson leaked down it's chin... Only half of your body was visible from his horse.

"Where's (Y/N) Armin?",

"She... She-",

"Well spit it out damnit! Where the hell is she?",

"I was a coward, Jean! I wasn't able to protect her and she... And when the Titan had her, I couldn't make myself protect her... I didn't deserve her... I was a coward".

Levi: You were confident. First in the whole of your Cadet Corp, excellent with ODM Gear and head-strong. You could think on your feet and had proven to Levi and Erwin you could hold your own. That's what made him fall for you in the first place, plus... You made a mean cup of tea. Having you die on this expedition wasn't an option. And he had willed that himself, even 'Humanities Strongest' had a weakness.

So as you separated -hesitantly of course- a look in his eyes held a desperation for you to ride through the gate along with him. Even if your limbs were half hanging off.

"You better come back brat",

"You know me shorty, I always come back".

Erwin: He was obsessed with the female titan. How he suspected she was someone like Eren; a shifter. However, he still found time for you, kept you all to himself as others gifted him strange looks. Yes, having your boyfriend's arm constantly around you as Titans feast on your comrades was insensitive. But, that's how Erwin made sure you would be okay. After all, you needed it. The trauma from Shiganshina still played on your mind. He would whisper sweet nothings until you found the bravery to make your first kill... Then your second and third. After that, you were off. You whipped through the air at the speed of light. Right up until you saw her.

She was too strong. Too fast for you to even comprehend. Yes, this may have been your first expedition. But you were third out of your Cadet Corp. therefore, you had something to your name as you pulled the trigger on the gas.

You heard his whispers as you grew closer to her fleshless form. You felt his soft touches as you pulled your blades over your shoulder. You saw his piercing blue eyes as her hand raised behind her nape and caught you.

"(Y/N)!!!!",

"Erwin! Help me!".

Reiner: He told you his secret long ago. As you laid in his arms, vulnerable as anyone would be. He poured the light on his shadowed past. And unexpectedly -to him at least- you took him in with a smile before reaching up and placing your lips softly against his own. And today, you knew his plan. After all, you were in on it, willingly of course. Nothing in you found the strength to stand up against him. It's not like you were coward, you just didn't want to watch them send Reiner away. You didn't want him dead. Eren however, now he was an idiot. Screaming his head off for no reason, you're surprised your ears didn't bleed in his presence.

So, your first expedition was your first day as a traitor to Humanity.

"Are you sure you can do this?",

"I'm sure Reiner. I'm always on your side",

"No matter what?",

"No matter what... Because I love you".

Bertholdt: your tall boyfriend always put a smile on your face. With his timid disposition and drastic difference in appearance, you knew straight away he was the one for you. And the only person that could watch your back during the 57th expedition. Your relationship was built on trust and loyalty. A relationship you hoped would never wither.

Once upon a time it was you, Bertholdt, Annie and Reiner. Now, it was you and Bertholdt, together and always. But... As a Titan's arm whipped around and nicked your gear. When your triggers ceased to work and you landed on the forest floor; defenceless.

It wasn't jaws of the Titans that killed you. It was Bertholdt with his frantically shaking blades.

"Bertl... What are you doing?",

"I have to do this (Y/N)",

"What are you talking about? This is crazy. Just help me get on your back and get me in the trees-",

"Shut up! This has to be done... For Reiner... And-",

"Don't say her name Bertl...
Just do it...
But, just know I'll haunt you when this is all done",

"I know... That's what I loved about you".
